It's great to see Nugent back and among the goals
He scored so many goals at Preston, and I'm still confused about why Portsmouth never give him a chance....
Now that Nugent scored a brace, lets hope the goals keep coming for him!
I bet Portsmouth wish they had him back now

It seems like Burnley are replicating last year's "Hull City" performances

Burnley's goalie kept them in the game with that save in the beginning of the second half and a great job by Neugent got them the 3 points
Jman008 (Manchester United) 2 months ago
Their goalkeeper was the reason why they win so many games. Alot of top flight teams might keep an eye on him

Why on Earth does Paterson continue to wear that absurd roll-neck?!

Brilliant to see the much-maligned Nugent ion the scoresheet, though. I do feel, however, that Sunderland allowed Burnley to play football and Burnley look dangerous when teams give them space

Burnley are protecting Turf Moor much in the manner that Fulham seem to play on another level at Craven Cottage. They can really find a level of success that transcends mere Premier League survival if they follow that model. And Nugent's revival shouldn't hurt their chances

Burnley are playing really well as one of the teams from championship. Sunderland just had their worse game of the season

Burnley's preformances was tremendous and so does David Nugent's, he came up as a sub on 58 min and scored 2 tremendous goals. He really found his form back in Burnley, hope to see him more
