Belgium V Bulgaria, May 19
Jeroen (Barcelona) 2 years ago
Woohoo! I was there a few hours ago to witness a pretty typical friendly: the first ten minutes were dominated by Belgium, with 3 clear cut chances, a missed penalty and the Bulgarian keeper being the MOTM so far. Then followed 70 dreadful minutes in which I went to get beer 3 times, which says a lot.
The last 10 minutes Belgium was pushing again, looking for that equaliser which we deservedly got in the 88th minute. Because of all the comedians on the Bulgarian side, 4 minutes were added and we scored again to secure the win. Albeit in a friendly, you could notice the relief on the faces of players and fans.

Hazard was the MOTM, not a single dribble of him resulted in loss of possession and often created a chance for himself or a teammate. Despite that, he really should be more confident to take the shot: many of his actions dragged on for too long when he could've tried to score

Well, at least you can buy a beer on the stadium, which is like a science-fiction in poland, not possible at all. Hey, and I did not know that lukaku plays for your national team. Pretty good squad you've got there now

No Berbatov...
Prejsu (KKS Lech Poznan) 2 years ago
Nope, haven't you heard? He gave up his national football jersey, he decided not to play for bulgaria ever again.... Which is strange because he is still a young player

Get a life prejsu

International friendlies are stupid anyways, just another reason to get injured. He's put his focus on united and I think that shows his commitment to do better and stay injury free

So the question appears, which one should be more important, representing your country which is like an ultimate honor, or playing in the club for the money and glory only.... An easy choice if you ask me....

A ty toudi sie pierdol. Pewnie twoj nick odzwierciedla twoja nature skoro wypelzasz ze swojej nory tylko po to zeby ublizac innym. Lajza

Actually it was Vincent Kompany, Man City CD that tapped in the goal
Overmars (Arsenal) 2 years ago
Did Vermaelen play? And I think Belgium will qualify for the next world cup and European championships
Jeroen (Barcelona) 2 years ago
No, Vermaelen is still injured. And yeah, Belgium should qualify for both the WC and the EC. An odd fact is that, until recently, Belgium was the country with the most participated World Cups after Brazil. More than England, Spain, Italy and France. It's a pity international football is getting so much better that we couldn't reach that level of football the last decade.

However, with the players we have now, and if the atmosphere and mentality is right, we should def. Do well

Eden Hazard is gonna' be such a killer in a few years, belgium has an interesting upcoming generation: they can develop an offensive football, finally !

I can't believe we gave up two goals in the end. After such a great game. That was a stupid loss. Great determination by Belgium though
