Not a very good showing against Ajax, if your going to play teams of that caliber you have to make a go of it and try to get in their and play. All we got was a load of ball watching, not good enough and I am a little dissapointed. Thankfully it was just a friendly
Good win against Wolves the new boy Haynes seemed sharp and Maynard did a good job of being creative on the attacking end. Hope to see those kinds of performances once the season gets underway
Before the match I would of taken a draw at Deepdale, but listening to the match on the radio I was utterly gutted at seeing Preston come back. Its easy to blame the official he was the deciding factor, but those leads need to be held to have a good season. Lot's of positives from the new signings and hopefully a better match next week. Really enjoyed the play from Hartley he showed why he was a Celtic stalwart.
Good 3 points earned against a professional Palace side, the only real problem with the game was the horrid officiating. Two legit goals dissallowed one for each squad and he really never let the game find any kind of flow. City showed they were up to the task though and really controlled the second half and Nicky Maynard showed a lot of industry fully deserving the game winner. That's two good performances so far and I feel like a boppin Robin today!
UGH! What a stinker against the blue birds. Nothing to say really Cardiff always looked like they were going to win, just hard to take these days in sometimes
And then there was a loss to Carlisle, I remain hopefull for this season.... But this just isn't going to cut it.come on City dig your heels in and get at it. For the sake of my sanity
