Perisic could not replace Götze. Dissapointing champions league season. A draw would've been a fair and useful result. Not even that, and top of it the 3rd spot is out of Dortmund's might.
Gunners win the last game !
Segolana (Arsenal) 6 months ago
Come on if domrtmund win their next game and arsenal win they will go through    I hope they do I like em, good luck to em

They'll need a 4-0 + an Arsenal win to advance in the champions league. I'd settle for a Europa league spot atm
Segolana (Arsenal) 6 months ago
Realy wow that's steep the head to head thing sucks

If RvP ever leaves arsenal wenger better gets a Benzema or Mario Gomez or Cavani because at the moment no1 else is scoring
Ibelieveinbenz (Real Madrid) 6 months ago
How on earth is rvp not on the ballon d'or shortlist?
Mahel11 (New York Red Bulls) 6 months ago
Because he just started playing at a ballon d'or level this season
PeterzeGooner (Arsenal) 6 months ago
Because Uefalona made that list lol
Ibelieveinbenz (Real Madrid) 6 months ago
Ahhhhhh leave it to the MLS fan
Segolana (Arsenal) 6 months ago

Funkatronik (Arsenal) 6 months ago

Excellent win again. Song's play on the left for the 1st goal was exceptional and proof that speed is not always the only option for a winger.... He utilised the space well and a simple bit of trickery allowed for the opening. RVP's movement for the 2nd goal is almost freakishly astute. He seems to know exactly what will occur long before it happens. His clarity of judgement and movement is excellent. A silly goal to give away as it won't do much for our confidence and allows the doubters to continue their undermining of a promising campaign of late. It is good to see Wojech get so infuriated and upset with giving away such a silly goal. Almunia would have slumped or dropped the head. Scezney lets the back four know what's goin on.come on the Arsenal
Hakred90 (Arsenal) 6 months ago
There he is, RVP the mvp~~~! I love arsenal
Reddevil278 (Manchester United) 6 months ago
Robben van Persie is amazing! I hope he doesn't become a loser like Nasri and head over to City. Arsenal need to hang on to him
Realmcoy (Arsenal) 6 months ago
Nasri was a disappointment but he's now alomst in obscurity on mancity's bench. Its sad but I don't think any other player on the current squad thinks like that and VP is the best but arsenal shouldn't be too dependent on him because he might not play every match and we still have to win those that he doesn't play
Funkatronik (Arsenal) 6 months ago
RVP is too classy to pull a nasri on us
Glaspar (Arsenal) 6 months ago
Don't write off city.... We did that for chelsea, look what happened after 1 season with their oil money
PeterzeGooner (Arsenal) 6 months ago
Songs amazing run reminded me of Bergkamp
Ramzzie (Arsenal) 6 months ago
Persie is the best player in the world
Jigsawwill (Real Madrid) 6 months ago
You really believe that don't you? Lol
Ibelieveinbenz (Real Madrid) 6 months ago
I'm pretty sure he's not but the way he's playing deserves to place him in at least the top 3
Ramzzie (Arsenal) 6 months ago
I mean do you see any other player scoring everygame? Noo so he is and knock out round here we come we can beat any team in our way
Seanf24 (Real Madrid) 6 months ago
Van Persie has not scored in every game.
Actually since the EPL started he has not scored in 4 or 5 games.
While Messi, CR and Gomez have almost scored every time and I could put M Reus, Higuain, Soldado and Di Natale who also have scored in almost every game.
Maybe you ought to say if someone has seen a player to score so many goals in just a couple of matches....
Anyways.... I think Barca will try to get Van Persie, cos Villa is not performing as he should, so enjoy watching him score while you can.
Funkatronik (Arsenal) 6 months ago
^oh please RVP is not going to pull a nasri on us
Metallicapc (Arsenal) 6 months ago
No, not the best player in the world, but he has to be the best goalscorer in the world at the moment with Mario Gómez. Messi is the best, Ronnie number 2 and then maybe RVP or Silva
Ramzzie (Arsenal) 6 months ago
You might say his not the best in the world but the best striker. Barcelona vs arsenal final come in may
Invisibale04 (Arsenal) 6 months ago
We Love you Arsenal

I feel so bad for Dortmund. They started the game so well and then Bender and Gotze both get subbed off due to injury =(

Considering the circumstances I'm giving Dortmund an awesome vote. Especially since they had sooo many chances at the arsenal goal. They just could not convert. Anyone who votes rubbish on dortmund clearly did not watch the game

They were a bit too negative in the first half though. They were too concerned with preventing Arsenal from playing while forgetting to play themselves. Why dominate the midfield and not take advantage? Whenever they forced Arsenal back, they dropped off and allowed Arsenal to push again from the back, they didn't do much in offense until the second half when Arsenal scored
Glaspar (Arsenal) 6 months ago
I think the 2 sudden substitutions in the 1st half startled them. You could see that the coach actually took a gamble with mario gotze (I think the commentator said sth about a minor injury or flu). But their game plan was pretty scary - disrupt the midfield and flood the attack, get the quick goal. Man I gotta' say, we can learn from their pressing off the ball in that first half. It was really very good
