Arsenal V Birmingham City, Feb 27
Weirdfishes (Arsenal) 2 years ago
Damn Foster had a great game.

And I guess it's karma.... No penalty call for birmingham's first chance, and we lose the game like this.

Think we really missed Fabregas.... Some good spells of possession, but really couldn't do much with it.

Congratulations to birmingham

Easy to say before the game
ChelseaFan88 (Chelsea) 2 years ago
HAHA what's up with that statement?
You're still waiting for them at the nou camp.
Having lost in the 1st leg, may I remind you...
DaGaza (Real Madrid) 2 years ago
Chelseafan88....  And that's what cost arsenal this game.... Thinking its all in the bag.... Piece of cake etc
ChelseaFan88 (Chelsea) 2 years ago
I guess that may be one of the reasons but birmingham were fabtastic

Do you know what? There was another of those crockery sales at the emirates recently. I couldn't find what I was looking for. There were no cups and amazingly there were 60, 000 MUGS. Well done brummies, gooners have disrespected the cup for too long by playing fringe and youth players. They are so desperate this year to win something so they field there top players and yet still they can't win a trophy. Perhaps its now time to give the ladies team a chance
Fabby (Arsenal) 2 years ago
Why are you even talkin? Shitty hasnt won something for 30 odd years, ppl like you who achieve great comfort by watching others lose when they are clearly better than your own team are pathetic. Just like the spuds
Subaru (Arsenal) 2 years ago
Leave him be, he is just looking for attension. I won't be surprised if he is a fat slob in person, just like his picture

LOL.... I remember wengers comment after arsenal managed a win against barcelona; ''arsenal can win the whole four''.... Lol.... Now my prediction has happened.... This is just another trophy less season for arsenal...
MUFC1990 (Manchester United) 2 years ago
No need to be so flipping Disrespectful, Birmingham played there hearts out and Foster was man of the match
Scavenger894 (Arsenal) 2 years ago
I'm sorry but I don't respect any comments from a Manchester City fan who can't even beat fullham and now are ten points a drift of leader Manchester United who have a game in hand
Cjayzz (Real Madrid) 2 years ago
Lol.... Martinity; you thief.... You stole my comment word for word from yahoo although you left part of it out

Comment NO 377 .... Nice one a**hole .... That is plagiarism.

Arsene Wenger needs to buy a Commanding Center Back and a World Class Keeper, his refusal to spend in the transfer market is ridiculous and is costing Arsenal trophys and there best players.

The money Arsenal makes surely he's got transfer funds?
AhmadSK (Barcelona) 2 years ago
Actually I think Arsenal is the only top flight club that handles their money well, all he needs is a couple of players and Wenger is fine. I don't understand his financial philosophies
Cjayzz (Real Madrid) 2 years ago
Lol.... He is training young talents;

You don't have to re shuffle your team entirely but 2 or 3 experienced players is a really good bargain.... But rather, they all left emirates and highbury unhappy....

At least spend on a couple of good players; it won't hurt the system
DTaDiablo (Manchester United) 2 years ago
He has been training young talent for years and what has he achieved the past five seasons. Yes we all want home grown talent in England but they're not producing what the club need. Of course it is proven since united brought many of their top flight players through the youth system.

Wenger needs to start spending some money in the market to compete for trophy's.
DaGaza (Real Madrid) 2 years ago
Honeslty.... If there was a title arsenal should have won to break the ice.... It was this one.... The other three are gonna' be incredibly hard for arsenal.... Finals require everything the team has got because you won't only attack.... You will also be attacked at.... Wenger didn't seem to understand that and didn't treat birmingham as he treated barca.... Tough luck arsenal.... Good luck in camp nou

It's apparent that Mr Wenger can't win the Carling Cup. Losing one Carling Cup Final is bad enough losing two is worse. The players in the Arsenal team are chokers. Mr Wenger since 2005 is becoming a manager good at losing cup finals. This is the third one he has lost since 2005. The Arsenal players must take some of the blame for losing this final. What the heck were Kosicelny and Szcznsy doing before the second goal
Vitaliy166 (FC Shakhtar Donetsk) 2 years ago
I'm thinking its because Arsenal moved to emirates and the trophy drought will continue,
Goooner04 (Arsenal) 2 years ago
I miss highbury  But emirates is what we needed
Cjayzz (Real Madrid) 2 years ago
I'm so happy for birmingham.... Up Blues!
Alex Mcleish good job.... Not managers that rant up and down in the media dreaming of 4 titles cos they were lucky against barca.... Whereas they have won nothing in 7 yrs
DePanarol (Manchester United) 2 years ago
Actually, its 5. Not 7. Might be 6 if they don't win any this year....
Cjayzz (Real Madrid) 2 years ago
2004-05.... Do the maths; it's 6-7yrs
Fabby (Arsenal) 2 years ago
6 years but yeah
SoniPique (Manchester United) 2 years ago
They won the FA Cup in May 2005. Do the math, it's 5 years 9 months. Muppet
Fabby (Arsenal) 2 years ago
He's actually right, if we win a trophy this season it will be in may and by that time it will be 6 years
Ninsane (Manchester United) 2 years ago
Lol.... Madrid fan...
ArsenalG4L (Arsenal) 2 years ago
It just doesn't seem like we're going to win another trophy anytime soon, it's so frustrating to watch. We're still a chance to do something big this season and I'm hoping this loss doesn't end up affecting the rest of our season in the other competitions. We need to leave this behind and still stay focused
Immanuel (Liverpool) 2 years ago
What is the difference between Birmingham City and Arsenal FC?

Birmingham City finally has got a title after a long barren run, while the barren run of Arsenal will continue at least till 2012
ChelseaFan88 (Chelsea) 2 years ago
They can still get one this season though, and depending on how they perform
ROonaldoO (Manchester United) 2 years ago
What kind of trophies do liverpool get these days?

Wellllllllll Excuuuuuuuse Meeeeeeee For Trying to Brighten Up the rest of your day
Dougie27 (Arsenal) 2 years ago
Don't blame Koscielny or Scziezny, they were unlucky and I can understand the mistake. Why did Wenger take Arshavin off instead of Rosicky though?
Pauleta (Manchester United) 2 years ago
Koscielny had a MOTM performance in the barca.... He just wasnt that lucky today
Surfryn89 (Arsenal) 2 years ago
I'd like to sympathize with koschielny and scziezny but the fact is it's small mistakes like that that separate the best goalkeepers and center backs from the rest show me a clip of nemanja vidic or a pepe reina making that mistake in a final.... Unacceptable
Ninsane (Manchester United) 2 years ago
Apart from the costly mistake, Koscielny played well. Can't say the same for the goalie though.... He wasn't good enough today
SoniPique (Manchester United) 2 years ago
Ben Foster once again wins his team the Carling Cup - 2 final starts, 2 MOTM awards = Great GK in the making
Jefwee (Tottenham Hotspur) 2 years ago
Ugh I still remember him shutting us out with penalties in.... 08? Or 07?
Cuztomized (Manchester United) 2 years ago
Yeah he should play for Arsenal
SoniPique (Manchester United) 2 years ago
2009 I remember him looking at penalty kicks from spurs players on an ipod just before the shootout lol
Stfunewbiez (Manchester United) 2 years ago
I just thing maybe foster can be next #1 manutd goal keeper, but won't happend send sell to birmingham.
Cuztomized (Manchester United) 2 years ago
Unlucky Arsenal ! They had so many great chances.... But Ben Foster was even greater.

Poor Arsenal.... Hopefully they can recover from this set-back and give it their all for the other trophies
