Good win for Barca, Played and control the game very well. Could have scored more but Diego Alves had another great game.

Hopefully, injured players will be back soon. We need a fully fit squad for the rest of the season

Fabregas! What a fantastic goal. Makes it look so easy. This make me realize how much Arsenal really miss him. Arsenal has only been getting goal from one player (RVP). Nobody has filled in the void that Fabregas left behind. Congrats to Barcelona for another commanding win
Sasidhar (Barcelona) 3 months ago
Fabregas's goal was entirely made by Messi - he didn't even have to touch the ball until the goal
Gunnerdemaestro (Arsenal) 3 months ago
Almost any1 in the barca 1st team, midfield upward could havev passed that. Fabregas made sure that was a goal with his class
Messionage (Barcelona) 3 months ago
That was a great finish by cesc despite an amazing assist by messi...
Getaasciesh (Barcelona) 3 months ago
@Gunnerdemaestro I don't agree you. Messi has shown he can can do more better things than even xavi. He assist such goal that you can't even think that can happen before he does it. It's not luck that messi provides most assist than others. And this surely was classic assist. You can't just say anybody could do it. Fabregas did good job but messi did outstanding here. Thank you very much

Well I'm agree with magic from messi pass but I can't say messi could do more than xavi or iniesta as the midfielder. They are all the best.... I don't want to judge them
Otownballer (Arsenal) 3 months ago
Well said Panda.

One can easily envision Fabregas playing the same long ball to Messi, who in turn applies a similar finish. In fact, put any of Messi, Fabregas, Iniesta or Xavi in either the passing or scoring role for that goal, and you'd likely get the exact same result.

And that is the beauty of this Barca side. Anyone, from anywhere, at any moment. A squadron of tiny footballing assassins. It doesn't matter who

Job well done

That XAVI

What an intelligent pass by messi, I would not notice fabregas run if I was at messi's position. Good performance all around
St1or (Barcelona) 3 months ago
Even when he's not living up to his standards, he's mesmerizing!

Alves had an amazing game and stopped from Valencia being 4-5 goals down. Valencia had their own fair # of chances as well. What an exciting game to watch!

MyroomisMESSI (Liverpool) 3 months ago
Iniesta makes an impact I'm tellin' ya!
YousifSaid (Barcelona) 3 months ago
Thank you! People underestimate him he's easily the best midfielder on the planet! He carries the Barca rythem from the Busi and makes it flow in the midfield and attack. 1 cool 1 clever vote
Otownballer (Arsenal) 3 months ago
Iniesta is a sorcerer, a magician. He dazzles and befuddles his opponents. He is without rival

Lol.... You sound like Ray Hudson
Otownballer (Arsenal) 3 months ago
Haha, cheers! I had to Google Ray Hudson to know who you're talking about but I found a fine sample:

"Don’t look for him [Messi] in the Xs and Os. He doesn’t live there. He doesn’t live in the tactical world or the technical world. He lives in the magnetic spectrum of genius. "

That's quality stuff right there

Great game by barca. Exactly what we expect to see from them.... People are saying Messi missed alot of chances, but I thought the valencia keeper did heck of a job stopping em! Messi was outstanding. Cesc finally had a good game.... Iniesta, welcome back!
AdnanMessi (Barcelona) 3 months ago
Last few games I wore my Xavi jersey.... This game wore my Cesc jersey, and now he's back in form...
Fastt187 (AC Milan) 3 months ago
Alves kept valencia in it.... Just too much barca
YousifSaid (Barcelona) 3 months ago
Wow Messi. My jaw dropped when he kicked that ball. He has the best vision I have ever seen. I actually think he's the best midfielder in the world as well if he played in midfield
Otownballer (Arsenal) 3 months ago
This is an important observation - Messi's potential from midfield. I wouldn't be surprised if, ten or fifteen years from now, whenever Messi starts to slow down a bit, he smoothly transitions into a midfield role similar to Xavi's. His vision, his passing ability, his ability to bring others into play, is good enough to fill that kind of distributional role. At the moment, and for the foreseeable future, he is too devastating as an attacker to pull back away from the scoring chances.

And as a quick add on, this kind of transition would be similar to what Ryan Giggs has achieved at Manchester United. The more I think about the two players, Giggs and Messi, the more I recognize how complete their respective games are
YousifSaid (Barcelona) 3 months ago
Well said. Its just honestly something about Messi that makes you respect him so much. He seems like a little kid enjoying football as if he was playing with his friends at the park. Other players seem so serious and like do too much thinking but he just seems to do everything by nature. Football seems like breathing to him he doesn't even think about it. Plus he's such a lovable guy for the amount of class he shows when players try to break his legs and he will still shake their hands after the match
PortYoder (Arsenal) 3 months ago
Messi does have great character, and he plays so smoothly too. But dude, if you watch neymar, it's just ridiculous how natural he looks. I suppose it helps that he is still playing in brazil, but he's gonna' be insane some day. Haha got a little off subject there.... Congrats to barca!
Vcf1990 (Valencia) 3 months ago
We got outplayed no disputing that. I am amazed however how truely aweful Victor Ruiz is. He is a walking disaster! How many times does he have to make a dumb mistake or lose posession in front of his goal. I want botia please
