Barcelona V Real Madrid, Oct 7

Barcelona playing without a recognised centre back and holding back ronaldo and co. Enough for a draw. Now that's un heard of!

Trust messi and ronaldo to get all the goals in the biggest showcase of spanish football

Yeyeye sick game. Ronaldo is an all star with his ability to finish. So all doubters about him choking is no longer valid. But Messi is becoming a free-kick specialist. So all doubters about him needing assists is no longer valid. Either way awesome el classico. But i'd still pick messi over Ronaldo. Just cause even today messi was very involved at the attacking side. Some deadly ass runs but more importantly he gave the passes that he needed too. (not that cristiano did not. But messi just was more present in the game)

They play different roles

Messi is a beast from free kicks now
Komeni (Manchester United) 4 years ago
Lol this does not work like a switch

Lol.... Lol
Messi before last season barely scored free kicks, he barely even took them. Now he's scoring them for fun, so clearly you're a retard

Barcelona will buy a CB.... They have to lol

I keep wondering where the La Masia center backs are. We've seen lots of midfielders and attackers. Where's the next Puyol?
OzilReal (Real Madrid) 4 years ago
^i think he is growing his hair lol tht takes time oh. Oh
Otownballer (Arsenal) 4 years ago
All due respect to Barcelona, they've continued to maintain their high standards. But how far have Real Madrid come in the last 2 years? It feels like ages since Barca handed them the 5-0 beating. I don't like Mourinho but credit where it's due. This is a rivalry poised on a knife edge now. Thrilling stuff
ManoK (Barcelona) 4 years ago
Your comment just show how little you know about la liga!  Its Real Madrid not Real Sociedad!

I was gonna' say real madrid deserve better, but than they didn't do much in 2nd half, barca came back strong, had to be ronaldo and messi, eh? Lol , gr8 treat for both fans, I guess we can't compare who is better this game, both went at each other, made it classico (no pun intended, oh may be haha) anyways fair result, crazy game though!
Komeni (Manchester United) 4 years ago
Montoya's post could have been one of the best team goals ever

Barca defends are exposed without puyol
DaGaza (Real Madrid) 4 years ago
To be honest.... With him they are not that much greater.... Its basically the same thing.... I mean in el classico puyol is on the bench.... Barca play with pique and mascherano....

Their system makes it hard to even attack barcelona but once you do, that same system kinda makes them vulnerable.... They had an awesome game especially considering that alves, pique, puyol and abidal were not playing.
H4nsel (Chelsea) 4 years ago
Puyol is the heart of Barca and plays with respect, aggression and talent. Adriano and Mascherano, play dirty, Ronaldo has a lot of self control not to smack Adriano out after this game
Jepc92003 (Barcelona) 4 years ago
@hansel & gretel lol he can't even smack his detractors because he's a sissy haha

I like both Messi and Ronaldo, but if you're a manager and could chose one you simply wouldn't pick Ronaldo over Messi. Messi has so much more to his game.... Destabilizing defenses every other time he gets the ball. Absolutely the most complete player I've ever seen.... Really just has everything.

Barca's defence is really awful. Seriously how hard is it to get a world class ball playing center back for a team like Barca? Just stay away from Agger!
OzilReal (Real Madrid) 4 years ago
I beg to differ here bro, I think its team philosophy and playing style, they play possession ball too much and have midfielder to do it, but real madrid approach is more direct, physical and counter attacking, so really diff thing, apple oh oranges, whichever you prefer better as manager,
H4nsel (Chelsea) 4 years ago
Why would you pick Messi? Ronaldo is better all round, he has been pretty defending corners by himself this season for Real, he is creating and finishing off chances, needless to say he has played in the toughest league in the world and dominated (EPL) proven he is able to adapt to different cultures, Messi has only ever played at barca in the barca system what makes you think he would get along play with different players around the world? More to football than attack mate.
Considering you follow liverpool what would you know.
DaGaza (Real Madrid) 4 years ago
I don't wanna get into this debate but I just wanna say that if madrid were the ones with 78 percent possession and barcelona were the ones with 22 percent possession ronaldo might easily score a hatrick every classico
Jepc92003 (Barcelona) 4 years ago
Too bad for you they don't lol xtiANO would be benched in a team that bases his style in having the ball, he doesn't like to play like that because is selfish, Messi is way more mature in his game being younger, best player I ever seen
Danman (Barcelona) 4 years ago
@DaGaza.... A big part of that is Messi (one of the best Barca passers) moving around to help hold possession. Ronaldo is not that type of player, plus he shoots the ball every chance he gets (and obviously that's not good for possession)
DaGaza (Real Madrid) 4 years ago
"@xtiANO would be benched in a team that bases his style in having the ball, he doesn't like to play like that because is selfish"

That awkward moment when you realize that currently real madrid is ranked 4th as the team with most ball possession in the planet with 60. 6%.... Juventus lie ahead of them in third with 61. 2%....

It doesn't look like he is getting benched to me
Paulsito (Arsenal) 4 years ago
Ronaldo did not actually dominate the PL. He was very good but has become dominant since joining RM. That is the truth.
Superfanof (Manchester United) 4 years ago
What a beautiful game. Both teams deserved the point
Miks1986 (Manchester City) 4 years ago
Barca need a new goalkeeper

So yous gonna' buy one for us?
Danman (Barcelona) 4 years ago
I'm sick of Valdes always getting caught cheating by the good strikers
Reds89 (Manchester United) 4 years ago
Great match, fair result
JKTan (Manchester United) 4 years ago
Classico today more like messi vs ronaldo. It's been built up this way by media. But now it certainly appeared so. Both world best player stood up for their team.

Whose better? Messi harder to guard I guess but more of team player. Ronnie's brilliant in more independant way.

Benz thought that was too easy. I rather scored sth with bicycle kick than just tap in. Lol. That miss really costs madrid classico win dear benz!
Thebevaneffect (Wigan Athletic) 4 years ago
Great match. Both superstars doing it for their teams.

Interplay for cr7's opener was incredible. And messi's free kick was something else entirely. Fantastic classico!
