He's talking about first winning in the "first game" of Asian Cup. Korea has never won in the very first game they played in previous years

First off, I have to say Bahrain committed A LOT of fouls against Korea and there should've been more bookings to Bahrain for sure. And more importantly, HOW WAS THAT A RED CARD? If you see the replay, the bahrain player was holding on Kwak's shirt and he brought down Kwak with him.

Overall, good performance, dominated the match, and the ref was absolutely rubbish

How was that not a red card? Last defending player, goal scoring opportunity and he ran across his legs.... It's a foul plain and simple and the red card is automatic

Lol'd at "how was that not a red card". First, he didn't run across his legs, the defender pulls his shirt outside of the box which carries into the penalty area. The penalty was a bit harsh but understandable.

As for the red card, there were 3-4 defenders behind and goal side, not to mention that the striker was completely out of reach of the ball when he fell down. No way in hell that was a clear goal scoring opportunity, much less a red card

RhOmEL how was he the last defending player, there are two defenders equal to them in the center of the box.... And for it to be a red card it has to be a much clearer scoring opportunity than that, he wasn't scoring from there. Red card is not automatic for a foul in the box either.
So yeah pretty much not a red on all accounts

The ref was brutal.... He totally sided with his Arab brothers...
QTN1991 (Manchester United) 1 year ago
If you think this ref was sided with his arab friends you should check Kuwait against China.... HE totally screwed kuwait OVER!.... The difference is they won - Kuwait lost

Looking forward to the Korea vs Aus game.... Should be a cracker!

Hey I know this is in Korean, but by far the best highlights out there!

Some pointers:

1) I love Korean TV highlights! The resolution is amazing!
2) The goal scorer, Gu Ja Cheol, is one of the most highly regarded youngster on our team.
3) The bald right back, Cha Du Ri, is the son of Cha Bum Keun, who used to be top scorer for Bayern Munich over 30 years ago. Cha Du Ri started as a striker in the 2002 WC, and then became a full back after constant comparisons of him with his father. Guess he still can shoot though!
4) To be honest, I don't understand the Koreans who say the Red Card wasn't fair. Sure, it was a Middle East ref, and that should not have been, but I felt the sending off was fair.
5) Sorry for the annoying biased commentators!

Nice Link! Those highlights are great quality!

Oh boy did those korean commentators crack me up.... With every korean attempt on goal it sounded like they were having a group orgasm.... Haahhahhaha

Commentary was great. I like that right-back already, he played with a smile throughout the game
Pvolpert22 (Barcelona) 1 year ago
Cha Doo-ri (sp?) is so happy when he plays! Reminds me of Ronaldinho's earlier days when he loved soccer....

But come on, I'm gonna' go with everyone saying that Red card was not correct. He wasn't the last defender back, it wasn't a clear goal-scoring opportunity by any stretch of the imagination, not was it intentional, it was a tangling of feet and a penalty, nothing more.

Geez red card was a bit harsh. Not quite last man and clumsy challenge more than anything, but he still has the right to challenge.

Penatly and yellow card at most. Be nice to see some common sense refereeing in the aus v korea game
Dpfka0821 (Manchester United) 1 year ago
Lol funny thing is that Bahrain player was the one who brought down the Korean player as he was holding on the Korean player's shirt.

Shouldn't even be a penalty at all
