Australia V Korea Republic, Jan 14

We might not have been too good or even convincing but we fought back and played a never-say-die German style of football taught by Osieck. Hope we go far this time round

Ah if only Korea could finish better, they had far more of the attacking possession. But credit to Schwarzer, he was brilliant. Unlike korea's goalie.... Poor keeping on the goal against them.

Anyway, glad overall to see Korea playing attractive footy!

Your comment are not level headed, if you want to watch a guy stand over the ball for 90 minute, then your game is boring.
Many Asian nation can play like that but they can't cut or thrust for goals. Alot of boring team will play like that.
But if you watch what the Brazil teams of the 90's it was exiciting, becasue they did something with that posession. Make darting run and dribble past opponents and leave them sprawling on the ground.

Atleast Australia took risk and play that power role up front with many striker who have powerful shot anywhere from outside that penalty box

That assist and ball movement for the Aussie goal was top form!

Terrific play Corea and horrible decision of Goalie Jung.  Go Corea for Asia Champion!

Hahah as if Australia was lucky! It was a pretty even game and the Socceroos had a VERY clear penalty disallowed in the first half.

I enjoyed the match.... It was a solid scrap of football. Pitty some of the rough tackling caused so many injuries

I don't know what game the people who thought Korea was awesome or Australia was lucky.

Korea goal was lucky and maybe had 15mins in charge of the match. Aus was putting pressure on from almost the full 90 had possession and better chances.

If anything Korea was lucky not to finsh the match 3/2 - 1 with a LOSE

Delevski, please watch the entire 90 minute game.

-Korea dominated most of the game.
-Australia dominated some parts of the game and owned all the set pieces that eventually led to a goal.

Korean's goal was not lucky and so was Aussie's.

Both played what they practiced for

Lol.... I don't think you watched the game Wayne. No team dominated the entire game

I think the voting does reflect very Accurately on the SIDEs.
First of If Australia was playing great like Koreans they would have netted about 4 to 5 goals past their oppositions.
So to score only one goal does say they play quite average
