Atlético Madrid V Real Madrid, Apr 11
Mightyblues111 (Chelsea) 1 year ago
Cr 7 is several classes above messi, at least! Look at those damn beauties!
Franky4fingers (Barcelona) 1 year ago
You probably also believe Chelsea is several classes above Barcelona
Heisenberg (Barcelona) 1 year ago
I love snatch
Cyk343 (Real Madrid) 1 year ago
Lol @franky4fingers, yeah sure, wait till they own you guys
Franky4fingers (Barcelona) 1 year ago
Own Barcelona? Make sure you message me after you eat crow.
XMadridista (Real Madrid) 1 year ago
Why there is no barcelona fan commenting? Hahaha they only come to insult, but not this time. Ronaldo owned all yall a*s. Hahahahhaa
Nitro (Barcelona) 1 year ago
You must be blind man.... Look at two comments below you.    Ronaldo played a great game!    He is also greatly arrogant.
Gremlin92 (Ajax) 1 year ago
And so is every single barca fan
Harshbasur (Inter Milan) 1 year ago
Atleast he doesent dive as much as most barca players do~~!
Xtophdjn0entry (Liverpool) 1 year ago
@Nitro  Ronaldo? Arrogant? No.... He's just better...
Tautara (Barcelona) 1 year ago
Nice win of Real. 2 beauties of CR7. But that wasn't penalty, just like the second penalty of Barca vs Milan wasn't one. Keep it realistic guys

(and Real players are divers as well.... Look to Higuain, CR7, Pepe sometimes (not this match), ....)
Nitro (Barcelona) 1 year ago
Thanks for everyone agreeing with Gremlin92 'cause your agreeing with me too, that Ronaldo is very arrogant.

He said: 'AND SO IS.... '

Also it proves your very ignorant too...
[account-removed] 1 year ago
^ you mad bro?
Raynor (Sporting CP Lisbon) 1 year ago
Atlético started the game with the right attitude, I was actually hoping it would be more close to decide the winner. But what can you do against [C.] Ronaldo? 3 goals, 1 assist.... Unfortunate that he is an arrogant prick, though.

Plus, it could have ended in much worse fashion for Atlético, Real created enough chances to humiliate them
Jogafutebol (Real Madrid) 1 year ago
Yes great game by him but please stop trying to analyse and judge him like you know him personally
Raynor (Sporting CP Lisbon) 1 year ago
Well, he acts as an arrogant prick on the pitch. Scores a goal and starts pointing at his leg? What the hell?
Jogafutebol (Real Madrid) 1 year ago
I still don't understand how some ppl are so simple minded. You guys dismiss him simply as arrogant without even knowing him personally or even knowing what the people around him say of his character. On the pitch he is always concentrating and determined to make a difference, its strong determination and confidence. Its a fine line that not everyone recognises. Not everyone will be described as "noble. A good lad and a hard worker" by Zidane. Btw, He doesn't just point at his leg after scoring any goal. It was a amazing strike, something that can only be done by putting in a lot of work
Grandeinter (Inter Milan) 1 year ago
By far the gayest goal celebration I have ever seen...
LusoAmerican (FC Porto) 1 year ago
Totally agree with Jogafutebol i've seen many documentary of him and he is like the most simple person you will ever meet, he is down to earth and if their is a word that really describes him its worker or even better extremely hard worker. This man doesn't leave his house during the season. He goes home from practice and then returns to practice the next day that is his life.

I recommend every one watch
(
)
This video. Its in portuguese but if you know spanish you'll some what understand. I recommend it to everyone Real fan, Barca fans, Sporting fans, absolutely everyone
Franky4fingers (Barcelona) 1 year ago
He might be down to earth but I think you're redefining simple here. He has great work ethic, doesn't waver from his goals (which is easy for someone as famous as him) and works hard even though he's probably at the summit of the footballing world. But "simple" no! I recently saw pictures of his Lamborghini Aventador being towed in Madrid. He deserves absolutely everything he owns but this is a list of the "simple" toys he's owned: Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, Bentley Continental GT Speed, Porsche Cayenne Turbo, Rolls-Royce Phantom, Audi R8, Bugatti Veyron, BMW X5 4. 8 iS, Bentley Arnage, Ferrari F430 and Porsche 911 Turbo. You get my point I suppose.
Elfiie (Manchester United) 1 year ago
If you can make a million in a month these things are simple
Raynor (Sporting CP Lisbon) 1 year ago
@Jogafutebol, it's not being simple minded: if doesn't get the ball he complains every single time. Yes, he is many times well placed to score and it's frustrating if you don't get th ball in that kind of situation, but the way he complains at his teammates.... Unreal! He is phenomenal as a player, he has great work ethic as @Franky4fingers stated.... However, he has this prima donna atittude.... I'm a big fan of his footballing skills, not of his character...
Nitro (Barcelona) 1 year ago
SaintIker (Real Madrid) 1 year ago
I also saw Messi screaming at Tello a number of teams because he opted to shoot instead of pass to him...
10baey (Manchester United) 1 year ago
Starting to think we let him go cheap
Heisenberg (Barcelona) 1 year ago
Shouldve not left in the first place
Customize (Real Madrid) 1 year ago
Why not? Pretty sure he wanted to play for RM
Cyk343 (Real Madrid) 1 year ago
@heisennberg you scared?
Dannymorales21 (Arsenal) 1 year ago
Good players test themselves in different situations and learn to adapt. This makes ronaldo better in my eyes. Messi is scared of losing hence why he will never leave and his prime will be short lived. 3 years and we may say messi who?
Doron (Barcelona) 1 year ago
It's different. Ronaldo is not a homegrown player. He maxed at Manchester United and wanted a new challenge. Why would Messi every leave Barcelona? He's got nothing to prove. Ronaldo struggles internationally for the same reasons. The team isn't good enough. Tevez, Rooney, Carrick, and Evra are all very good players. Such an astonishing revelation that football is a team game. Damn.

Oops wrote Man City. Fixed
Rooneysthebest (Galatasaray SK) 1 year ago
Just gonna' scroll down and read some funny comments from barca fans. Haha
Cyk343 (Real Madrid) 1 year ago
Looks like we have to scroll up too. Haha
Thepredestrian (Arsenal) 1 year ago
I believe both Messi and Ronaldo are brilliant players and are exceptional in their own way. But right now, Ronaldo has the edge over Messi simply because he has plied his trade in both Portugal, England and Spain (impressing in all leagues); Messi, however, has remained in his comfort zone for too long. Try the EPL, Messi. I dare you
ACMilanRocks (AC Milan) 1 year ago
Man shitty would have to sell.... No one because their rich af.... What about the serie a?
Tautara (Barcelona) 1 year ago
C'min, CR7 is performing well at Portugal? Sorry, but if you state that Messi is worthless in the Argentina team, then you have to say this too about CR7 at Portugal. His performance there is below expectations every time!
Grandeinter (Inter Milan) 1 year ago
Messi was in Barcelona since he was 14, , , never played in Argentina professionally
Reventon (Barcelona) 1 year ago
Why do these idiots keep bring up "in order to be great you have to play the EPL". Did Ronaldo R9 play epl? Did Zidane play epl? Nedved played the EPL?

If you want to rate a player's skill just because of EPL try judging the england national team
Franky4fingers (Barcelona) 1 year ago
Messi read your comment and he is ready to take up your dare. He has dared you to get all your buddies together and raise a 100m pounds and get him to the EPL
TheMysterious1 (Barcelona) 1 year ago
So Beating every english team in the Champions League isn't enough?
FootyFan11 (Real Madrid) 1 year ago
As Football Fans lets all be happy to see 2 fantastic players ;D
Lhendup7 (Manchester United) 1 year ago
It's not about beating every English team. I think everyone wants to see how well messi can adapt to a new league and team. Ibramovich in Barcelona, Shevchenko and Robben in Chelsea, etc were all flops.
Barcelona has the best midfield in the world, so people want to see whether he can perform without xavi and iniesta.

Cyk343 (Real Madrid) 1 year ago
Here comes all the Barca/Messi Verbal defenders.... Sad they are still so delusional
SaintIker (Real Madrid) 1 year ago
@Reventon.... Poor comparisons, Zidane and Ronaldo also dominated in Serie A and both won world cups for their national teams. Ronaldo was great with Madrid, Barcelona, Inter, Brazil etc. Same story with Zidane. Messi? One team, one philosophy....

Not saying it's correct but your comparisons are silly
Olefutebol (FC Tokyo) 1 year ago
Are you kidding me? Astonishing! This is not just a dream, it’s a wet dream of orgasmic proportions! Wonder strike from CR7! - Ray Hudson

Best comment ever!
Vmaestro (Real Madrid) 1 year ago
To the Premiership fans who think that the Premiership this season is more competitive than La Liga, read these facts....
In La Liga this season three further teams got more competitive. And these three are; Malaga, Levante and Osasuna, which are in 4th, 5th and 6th place respectively.
These 3 teams are added to the existing list of 6 teams that of last season, but take one off (Villareal) who have not been as competitive as last season. So there is a total of 5 competitive teams this season, without Real and Barca, so in total there was 7 competitive teams at the start of this season competing for 4 top positions, excluding the top 2.
The competitiveness of La Liga progressed even further.
7th place Athletic Club Bilbao with 42 points are 4 points behind next Europa League place, and from 7th place to 11th place there are 5 teams with the same points as Atheltic Club Bilbao, who compete for 5th and 6th place, and all this is without the two teams that are in 4th and 5th position, which in total it would make 7 teams that compete for 5th and 6th place only, plus 2 other teams that compete for 3rd and 4th, which would mean 9 teams compete for 4 top positions in this season and that is excluding the top 2 positions.
In the Premier league there is 4 teams competing for 3rd, 4th and 5th places and that is without Man UTD and Man see, which in total this will rise up to 6.
4 teams in the Premiership compete for 3 places and that is without the top two.
There is also gap of 10 points for the next following team in the Premiership, which respectively is 7th.
Newcastle is the only newest competitive team that managed a place in top 5, the rest are normal as last year, with some even being less competitive (Chelsea and Liverpool)
All these facts speak for themselves and are proof, that this season La Liga is more competitive than the Premiership.
Argue with facts if must do, but really facts speak, so don't bother wasting your time to contradict this
Oh.... And I am talking about this current season, not last season or 10 seasons ago, I am talking about the present.
Anyways.... [C.] Ronaldo was great in this match, he was the man of the match for me, so come on Real Madrid, yous can do it!
Kibakun (Manchester United) 1 year ago
Too much to read.... But I agree La Liga is great this year too
Vmaestro (Real Madrid) 1 year ago
I know, but I could not keep it short.... And I too don't like reading long comments, but cos I am so much into football I still do. Lol
Madridista174 (Real Madrid) 1 year ago
I don't know why people love to write essays on here lol no offense, but if I have to scroll to finish reading what you wrote, I probably won't read it lol
Vmaestro (Real Madrid) 1 year ago
@Madridista  You know that quote.... 'we know too much'? Lol
Madridista174 (Real Madrid) 1 year ago
No actually I'm not familiar lol do explain
Dannymorales21 (Arsenal) 1 year ago
Zzzzzzz
TheMysterious1 (Barcelona) 1 year ago
Attacking players of Real Madrid didn't perform up to their standards in my opinion but defenders did a solid job of keeping Atletico at bay after the equalizer.
One thing is for sure if it wasn't for Ronaldo this match was a toss up between the 2 sides.
Real Madrid might not have deserved such an emphatic win but Ronaldo definitely did
Vmaestro (Real Madrid) 1 year ago
Almost spot on!
Not even the defenders performed tonight, they were very poor.
Falcao could have scored a hat trick with only using the head.... Just shows how bad the defending was.
For me only Ronaldo, Xabi and Casillias shined tonight
Franky4fingers (Barcelona) 1 year ago
Thank you Vmaestro! I said that last night and Real fans were on to me. I think Ronaldo's brilliance hid an overall average performance by most of the Madrid team. The defence wasn't up to standard. Benz, Kaka, Di Maria didn't do much. Khedira was invisible
TheMysterious1 (Barcelona) 1 year ago
I wouldn't say the defenders played badly but they didn't dominate the attackers as they usually did.
SaintIker (Real Madrid) 1 year ago
I'm sorry but although I agree Kaka, Benz and Di Maria didn't have the best of games, neither did Alonso, but Khedira was great! CRonaldo, Coentrao and Khedira were the best outfield players on the pitch
Rangzw (Barcelona) 1 year ago
Ronaldo has to be one of (if not THE) greatest free kicker of all time? His technique is like nothing I've seen before
Vmaestro (Real Madrid) 1 year ago
Juninho, Beckham, Pirlo, Ronaldihno, Zico, Rivaldo, Gerrard, Baggio, Hagi and a good few more are in the group of greatest free kickers of all time, Ronaldo is not there yet.
And this is coming from a Real fan
Rangzw (Barcelona) 1 year ago
Yea Ronaldo doesn't achieve great bend in his kick but I've never seen anyone get so much dip on it when struck with the laces like that. His backlift is very short and even the follow through is short. Looks more like a 'jab' rather than a full flighted kick. I guess being the greatest freekicker would have to boil down to success rate and from what I heard is that CR7 hasn't got the 'Greatest' success rate
Reventon (Barcelona) 1 year ago
If you never seen a ball with such great dip, it clearly says you've never seen Juninho.... He's the best free kick taker and that free kick he scored against us in the champions league back in 2008 is unforgettable
Heisenberg (Barcelona) 1 year ago
It would also be Juninho for me, but Ronaldo is currently the most dangerous free kick taker
TheMysterious1 (Barcelona) 1 year ago
@Reventon  Link please

SaintIker (Real Madrid) 1 year ago
Gerrard? Seriously?
NCSoccerGuy (Real Madrid) 1 year ago
CR7 simply cannot win. When he single-handily beats Atletico, people call him arrogant because of his celebrations. They say he doesn't celebrate with his team-mates when all he does is give nothing but praise for them
Reventon (Barcelona) 1 year ago
What does that have anything to do on how real madrid performed against Atletico?    Are you saying ronaldo = real madrid?
NCSoccerGuy (Real Madrid) 1 year ago
You and your bandwagon fans make ridiculous remarks on every performance he puts in. "He doesn't celebrate with his team. " "He is arrogant. " "He is selfish. " Well, yes. He scored 3 Goals, and had an assist. He single handily won the game. He was the only one who showed up for Madrid
Dannymorales21 (Arsenal) 1 year ago
Messi = barcelona. Good game madrid win this f*****g title and shut those pretty boys up
Heisenberg (Barcelona) 1 year ago
Congratz to Madrid! El Classico has been prepared for by both teams in style. Ronaldo played a magnificent game, great strikes and a wonderfull assist to Callejon!
Marcopolo281 (Real Madrid) 1 year ago
Ronaldo's second is definitely goal of the week. Like a boss!
This site should add a Freekick of the week, and just for Barca, a Dive of the Week. Lol
Jamiemacdonald (Tottenham Hotspur) 1 year ago
Comin' from a madrid fan?
GlennyBoy (Rangers) 1 year ago
Real Madrid are just as bad for diving, or do you not actually watch your own team?
Ilikeairports (Barcelona) 1 year ago
So you have to start trolling on us on your own board? Ok
Osman2793 (Arsenal) 1 year ago
After the Valencia game Madrid should be last team talking about diving. Let me refresh your memory.

Both are candidates for dive of the century
Paradox (Real Madrid) 1 year ago
Great game on away. Keep pushing Real!
Los Blancos will keep marching on!

Getting excited to see El Clasico, although I'm hoping Levante would extend the point difference before the clash. :/
One of the best La Liga season so far!
Dannymorales21 (Arsenal) 1 year ago
Yeah maybe next year 3 teams will be going for the title.... Zzzzz
SaintIker (Real Madrid) 1 year ago
You mean like Arsenal fighting for the title? Lol.... It's only Man City and Man Utd. Lucky City were taken over otherwise it would just be Utd. Had Chelsea not been taken over Man Utd would have 90% of titles in last 20 years. Until yday Man Utd had an 8 point gap over 2nd place....... Yawwwn
Paradox (Real Madrid) 1 year ago
I think Danny meant in La Liga. Where it's always a 'two horse' race.
JasonRealMadrid (Real Madrid) 1 year ago
If ronaldo scores like this against barcelona, I will show my tigh to everyone
