@Marianne, True, never even knew Liverpool had a reserve goalie!I thought Andly Carroll was finally gonna' make himself useful by putting on those gloves and becoming the goalie lol! At least he's tall and he dives well *wink*
No one's gonna' take that shot away from villa that strike was flawless from herd! But you have to admit.... Score could have easily been 3 or 4-1 (something i've been saying FAR too often as a liverpool supporter.... Malheuresement)
Same old pool.... If we are not losing, we are drawing. Hope we can pick it up. Hope they see the need for a new striker in the team, a world class one and a descent winger to assault opposing teams on both sides. Downing looks to be maturing well in the team. He is still expensive but is working out his worth at least
Nothing wrong with kenny's selection today. The chances were there, just the same old story, no one but us to blame for not finishing. Herd's handball probably would have been harsh and the ball may or may not have crossed the line earlier on. But we've hit the post far too many times.
Reminds me of that nike ad where r9 responds to ronaldinho's ad by hitting the crossbar "Dude, the ball is supposed to hit the net not the bar ok? "
He didn't dive once in this match and there was contact in every situation, he was wrongly carded and so was an A. Villa player who was also yellow carded for 'diving'.
The referee had a pretty poor match but at least it didn't really affect the result
Good to see Gerrard using his right leg to produce wonderful crosses but there must be a player in the front of a goal with enough skill to put the ball into the goal.
Collind and Given were superb for Villa. Great to see their youngsters getting games. Bad decisions cost Pool the game. Villa were lucky not to concede three pens. Suarez was unlucky being booked but I guess his reputation got the better of him
It's better draw then lost. It's better won carling cup then non, it's better 7th position then 8th, and it's really better if we win the FA cup. Go liverpool.... May God bless you...
