So as always throught the season we see in which posistions we could use some reinforcements. This is where (often cloudst and his scouting skillz) people come up with possible players we could buy. So I decided to make a thread so we could have a small overview of some of our possible targets. Ofcourse your also allowed to post your targeted players, you feel we should buy. I thought it would be usefull so we don't have to look up all the names 1883783 pages back but just simply have them here. Also for people who don't really care about the transfer/scouting rumours can still simply join us due to the targetted players information is all in one place. Well i'll start off. Adam Maher, 18 years old and plays for AZ, in the eredivisie. He's a young prospect who played for AZ in the EL today. Lots of people who have seen him play say that he reminds them of fabregas and it is also rumoured that barcelona are following him, he could be a great addition to out team. He's played 11matches so far for AZ, he's kinda like their wilshire .
He is a playmaker type of player and has good through balls. I haven't seen that much of him but after this match iam pretty interested and iam going to look for clips or just some more in-depth information. His price btw would be around 3~5m I suspect.

So i'll start off with our main target imo

Marvin Martin and Xherdan Shaqiri

This is the one that has been bought up over and over and over and over again. Some ppl may be like ok I'll join the hype train since they are good players, but this is a false interpretation I know most of you don't know them cause you don't follow the swiss league or the Ligue 1 for that matter but having watched the two i'll give you a basic round up OF WHY they're so wanted at the club.

Marvin Martin:

We've been missing a creative spark after Fabregas left imo and this little midget can provide that and more (I say midget cause that's how I roll ) he's soooooo damn good at providing the passes that even the crappiest of players can look world class when playing with him. (doesn't necessarily mean they'll be good if they're finishing is crap right bendtner ) anyways he just knows where to find the players and he has a fantastic shot as well. He's all rounded player that takes control of the midfield like no other player you've seen before. Some issues that may arise with him is adapting to the EPL but I think he's a bit of muscle bag so he'll adjust fine. And with French players in our squad already I think he'll adapt right away and be good friends with Wilshere (lol Martin is known to be quite a funny person and is the guy that keeps the team loose).

Xherdan Shaqiri:

Threk's other half he's in love with this guy and for good reason too he's a such a talented player and he never backs away from anything. He's a got a tough solid attitude that always focuses on one thing and one thing only.... And that's to win the game no matter what. Apart from his attitude he brings excellent crossing, dribbling, and very good shooting as well. He's the winger we've been looking for imo and definitely gives gervinho more competition. He's a bit of an asshole though attitude problems and what not but if we get him wow that'd be quite the achievement cause when we need to win the game and need someone on he'll be the one we can rely on cause he brings a constant pace that he'll never stop fighting for the ball.

More targets will come soon just need to get my mind on the right one's

Rather than going for an abroad player we could consider getting a great EPL player to join the squad. Someone like Demba Ba would be a hell of a replacement for Chamakh, former gunner larsson would also be a good addition to our midfield with his excellent accuracy and incredible shooting power and finally Adam johnson who has been playing well but with city's massive squad he may feel he will not be getting as many games there as he would here, the guy is creative and tricky. Players with EPL experience do not need time to adjust. And we are seeing a good example in Arteta a player who has not been at his best but still performs well due to his EPL experience

So it seems Granero is on the verge of becoming a gunner. I personally think this is an awesome move since jack is out for the rest of the season

Hey guy's apparently Bassong is on Wenger's shortlist, I don't really trust the article I read this from so I won't bother posting it. But do you think he is good enough to be a gunner?

This is my own personal wish: Gabriel Agbonlahor

The guy was class a few seasons ago then seemed to lose his edge after some injury problems, but he's clearly been in the gym bulking up (I remember reading an article online where one of his managers, possibly McLeish, said he's getting too stocky) making him a powerful strike partner for RvP.

This season he's found his old self again and has been excellent when deployed in a slightly wider position, but we all know the guy can finish. I can imagine him as a ST with RvP behind him in the free role. I know he's a local Villa boy, but if Wenger got him he'd be buying a relatively young English striker with years of PL experience and I think Wilshere, Ramsey and Arteta can unlock defences with some slick passing and his pace will terrify the opposition.
