The "villain" that I've hated most and legit think was most evil in ANY movie was Nurse Ratched from One Flew over The Cuckoo's nest.

But if you're looking for the "tough guy intimidator" I'd have to say it's a tie between Joe Pesci (casino or goodfellas take your pick) and Ben Kingsley (yes you will yes you f*****g will yes yes yes yes yes lol)

I gotta' give credit to kingsley as well, because the Joe Pesci's and Peter Mullen's of the world seem to be born and bred for those roles, but Kingsley is so damn versatile, he shocked me with Sexy Beast

Hey 11, has Sherlock in the bbc version ever openly slighted Arsenal? I know the character was born in london, I have been assuming he supports spurs or chelsea because in the rubbish US version he took a swing at the arsenal.

See trailers like these make me wanna go see films in the cinema. Not your usual s**t show of gore/poop.... The sounds and background music convinced me. I got a "feel" for the movie not a bunch of lame cliffhangers that get your ass in the seat.... I will watch this this weekend. Thanks

After watching this, message me and lemme know what you think. I'm eager to hear the reactions on this one = } Alright, so if you can tolerate subtitles, I would suggest this film for all the Revenge Story aficionados out there. A South Korean suspense thriller entitled "Oldboy"

Oldboy is pretty legit, I still think the one he did before, Sympathy for Mr. Vengance was his best film. He is making a new one in english with Nicole Kidman called Stoker.

What makes this film a truly f****d up engagement is the moral and allegorical heft.
Halfway through the film I had no idea where the new elements introduced in the film would go.

And the ending has to be one of the best in recent years, let alone one of the best in the genre

The ending, as it should, left me only with questions and an overwhelming sense of awe. I was totally bereft is disappointment and discontent, despite the fact that so much was left unspoken. Why was the wife smiling? Was the child unconscious underneath the blanket? Her mouth wasnt gagged or duct taped, why wasn't she speaking? Was she in on it? My guess is not at all. His friend said 'Thank you' right before he ended his friends life, the same thing the members on the list said, yet he probably wasnt a part of it either, so why then?
Speaking of allegory and heft, what do you consider the symbollism, abstract spiritualism, or semantics could possibly represent/mean? Sh*t man, you should just request me so we can meebo this ish lol

Well I ll say this without giving much away, the title cards (hints of Passolini's Salo) literally take aim at parts of british society and the ending goes all the way through to the beginning where it all starts

Story line isn't very good and hence lies the problem for me. Gone are the days where I watch movies with very little story lines no matter how good fight scenes are

I watched the clip you posted and I've seen the first undisputed and heard talk of this new guys talents
From what I understand after watching the clip is that a lot of the 'impressiveness' that comes from these fight sequences comes down to two things: intricacy and editing. His kick combinations are unique, which is where I'm assuming most of thrills in the movie come from, and the editing is very detailed to give the impression of power and killer impact, when in many cases, neither are actually present. The most impressive things that I saw were what he was able to do to that bag, and his acrobatics. But as far as actual fight sequences go, I'd sooner recommend a Jet Li movie, tony jaa movie, or something of that nature. These seem too obviously choreographed and/or staged. But that is awesome that this film was able to inspire you like that. It is no easy feat to truly inspire a viewer in any way, for that alone, I respect you sir

I don't watch fight movies, but if you do, watch The Raid......Never seen fight/kill/shoot/martial arts scene like these

Khalid, I have recently finished the first season of House of Cards, but don't worry, I won't ruin anything lol. I'm glad you mentioned it as I too enjoy the show. I believe it to be very well done and enthralling. If you are a Kevin Spacey fan, as you seem to be, might I recommend The Big Kahuna if you haven't already seen it

Finished watching House of Cards. All of it in 2 days. Great show, can't wait for the second season. As for The Big Kahuna, I havent seen it, but I am a huge fan so Spacey so that is the next thing I am going to watch
