Luvdgame (Barcelona) 4 years ago
This Argentina's defence is really a pain in the ass for this great looking tam....
Stefke951 (AC Milan) 4 years ago
What a golazo from di maria!
Footyboy987 (AC Milan) 4 years ago
What a cracker by Angel Di Maria

Wow. Just wow

Argentinean just dismantled Germany they had no answer to the attacking style of the south Americans nothing at all
Achiox (Manchester United) 4 years ago
1st goal was an own goal, 2nd goal was just plain beautiful, 3rd goal- well it was nice but I'd like to see what a better keeper could do. Argentina would've won regardless of that own goal or whether or not di Maria scored, but it wasn't and wouldn't have been a landslide victory.

Nice consolation goal from Höwedes too, diving headers are always great to watch!
Schweinsteiger (Bayern München) 4 years ago
Playing against 10 men for a whole hour with the best player in the world and getting two goals against Germany's fourth choice keeper. Yeah, that's totally what dismantling is.

Shovwar (Barcelona) 4 years ago
Blah Blah Blah.... Accept the defeat. No excuses
Schweinsteiger (Bayern München) 4 years ago
The defeat is accepted, no doubt about it. Dismantling is not what happened though

From 2:21 till 2:50 for messi's goal NOW that's football!
Foballa (AC Milan) 4 years ago
Now argentina are learning how to play around messi, even di maria gets to the next by learning when to take one touch, and when to dribble like messi
Dicicco8 (Liverpool) 4 years ago
I don't think this result is very consequential. Especially for germany, who didn't play their strongest squad. That being said, argentina do look like the best team in the americas atm. Glad messi is involved in the win
Unmessievable (Barcelona) 4 years ago
WHAT A GOAL! Di Maria! Damn homez!
Loopster (Arsenal) 4 years ago
Germany f*cked up en epic scale
Saucy05 (Arsenal) 4 years ago
Argentina is stacked up front; messi, di maria, higuain, aguero and maradona.

They are far and above anyone else in the striking department. They just need to shore up the back line and you got yourself world cup winners
MacGillycuddy (Liverpool) 4 years ago
Their defence is really bad in comparison that's true
CFLNHLFIFAFAN (Chelsea) 4 years ago
Argentina have some great players upfront and great team, I'm huge germany fan and there amazing but tough loss here in friendly. The first Argentina goal was very bad mistake by Khedira, went off his leg and Idk how he missed it. But ya then Messi got goal later. But What a smash by Di Maria, brillaint shot, amazing. Then the germany goal was a fantastic play by german players passing, some give in go's and then a perfect header and in. Watch it slowly a few times it is brilliant

Germany seems to be going downhill since the euro loss...
Erich (1. Nürnberg) 4 years ago
Lol, that was the very first match after the euros and an unlucky loss to argentina. Don't read too much into it, they will be back strong enough. Klose was the only german player above 25 years of age on the pitch...
Francois01 (Bayern München) 4 years ago
There are so many football noobs on this board. Unbelievable
MarkoPollo (Borussia Dortmund) 4 years ago
Amen Francois.come on? Did you guys even watch the game? Argentina was completely outplayed until the penalty and red card.... This isn't the game to judge either teams capabilities. It was a freaking friendly!
KidultHood (Inter Milan) 4 years ago
@MarkoPollo and that penalty call was the best move of the game up to that point.... Argentina have a team of champions, what do the German team have?
MacGillycuddy (Liverpool) 4 years ago
They have the team of the future! And that for over 6 years now!
KidultHood (Inter Milan) 4 years ago
@MacGillycuddy ''team of the future'' lol man.... I've been hearing that since 2007 bro.... Lol ''team of the future'', seems like you can see the future bro?
MacGillycuddy (Liverpool) 4 years ago
Dude are you new to sarcasm? That's what the Germans say all the time but proceed to fail
LowenStark (TSV 1860 München) 4 years ago
Germany had a much weaker side, plus ten men for an hour.common guys, you can't give Argentina to much credit, even 1860 would ve won against germany with that team and a man down.

You can't read into it.

Di Maria has shown how to shoot a ball with power but placement across or whole foot. Its like a Beckha shoots when he goes for power, that way the ball doesn't reach any height and goes over the bar.

Nothing worse then seeing todays Proffesionals not knowing how to keep the ball down while shooting from far distances.
Nicely Done
