I can't remember the last time an English team went to a tournament and came back without a single point. What a mess!
England teams should start to looking for player who willing to work for the country. Last couple of decades England had plenty of talented players and won utterly nothing. I personally never wanted to see them play for the country again. Absolutely catastrophic! The FA (f*****g Arseholes) should do better with a managerialism.
What a calamitous and atrocious performance by England! i can not see both England teams will win any trophy in next couple of centuries. Pathetic and miserable managers and players will do absolutely nothing in the future for the country.
i just read a bbc article that makes a good point. nations like spain and italy are playing their strongest eligible players +/- a couple players like balotelli or el sharaawy who are needed for WC qualification in the senior side.
look at the guys eligible for the u21 tournament for england that didnt play/show up.
1. Callum McManaman (Wigan)
2. Kyle Walker (Tottenham)
3. Luke Shaw (Southampton)
4. Jack Rodwell (Man City)
5. Phil Jones (Man Utd)
6. Steven Caulker (Tottenham)
7. Raheem Sterling (Liverpool)
8. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (Arsenal)
9. Danny Welbeck (Man Utd)
10. Jack Wilshere (Arsenal)
11. Andros Townsend (Tottenham)
that's not such a terrible team, is it? multiple quality options at virtually every position (except striker, where only welbeck stands out). would be interesting if all the teams took the tournament super seriously, because as it stands, only the dutch and spanish brought their strongest teams.

Too many excuses. I'm Norwegian and I still have to ask how the heck they manage to lose to a Norwegian team with players from Blackburn (only English team), some German and Austrian teams at similar level and Norwegian teams like Viking and Odd.. Not exactly world beaters.
A player like Jack Rodwell was available but unbelievably overlooked. Instead he travelled all the way to Brazil and got to play 7 (SEVEN) minutes for the England senior team. He should have been playing 270 minutes with the U21.
Stuart Pearce is long overdue to be kicked out. The FA need to bring in someone like Glenn Hoddle and move on!

England are lacking a player who can boss the midfield and control the game. Its the same case over and over again, individual brilliance but no possession
