Liverpool knocked holders Barcelona out of the Champions League despite losing 1-0 on the night while Valencia, Roma and Chelsea, although they trailed at the break, also progress to the quarter finals.

Substitute Eidur Gudjohnsen's winner was not enough for Barcelona as Liverpool triumphed courtesy of the away goals rule. The Reds twice hit the woodwork and Ronaldinho struck a post.
Chelsea 2-1 Porto (Agg:3-2)
Chelsea had to come from behind to see off Porto after Ricardo Quaresma sprung the off-side trap to give the visitors a shock half time lead. Helton made a mess of Arjen Robben's long-range shot and Michael Ballack grabbed a 79th minute winner.
Lyon 0-2 Roma (Agg:0-2)
Highly-fancied Lyon crashed out of the competition with their first home defeat in Europe since 2002. Francesco Totti and Mancini scored the goals in the first half and there was no way back.

A goalless draw at the Mestalla ensured Valencia progress to the quarter finals on the away goals rule after the 2-2 draw at Inter. A mass brawl at the end marred the occasion.
A goal from substitute Eidur Gudjohnsen gave Barcelona a 1-0 win in the second leg at Anfield, but the two away goals from Craig Bellamy and Jon Arne Riise at the Camp Nou a fortnight ago see Liverpool advance to the quarter-finals.
