Jerzy Dudek’s heroics in the 2005 Champions League final for Liverpool was forgotten overnight, for whatever reason it seems that Rafa Benitez just simply wouldn’t let him play anymore and so the 34-year-old Polish Goalkeeper decided not to renew his contract with Liverpool which meant he was a free agent, and while there were rumors that several Premiership clubs were interested in taking him on board the lure of Real Madrid was stronger and today it was confirmed that Jerzy Dudek is now officially a Real Madrid player.

Ajax have roped in Dennis Rommedahl & Ismael Urzaiz for the new season and i think it’s a pretty decent buy, i always felt Rommedahl was rotting/wasting his talents at a club like Charlton so it’s good to see that he finally will get a chance to play in the Champions League again.
AFC Ajax were delighted to sign a “supersub” after recruiting the former Spain forward Ismael Urzaiz on a one-year contract as well as winger Dennis Rommedahl from Charlton Atheltic FC.

I would have prefered Ludovic Giuly to join Newcastle so that i’ll be able to keep track of his fantastic talents and actually see him play regularly but it’s not to be as AS Roma has signed the Barca star for £2.2million.
He has now passed a medical and agreed terms on a lucrative three-year deal.
Giuly had been linked with a return to former club Monaco, as well as several other top European clubs, but he had his heart set on Roma.
“He refused offers from six other clubs who were willing to spend up to £6million for his services, but he chose Roma,” Ernesto Bronzetti, who acted as mediator in the deal, told Rete Sport.

Roy Keane has plundered his old club to land Kieran Richardson for £5 million.Richardson, 22, has been at United since leaving West Ham aged 16 in 2001 but looked to be on his way out following the big money signings of Nani and Anderson.
He was called up to England’s 2005 summer tour of the United States after impressing on loan at West Brom - scoring twice on his debut - and, despite being tipped for a permanent move to the Hawthorns, United boss Sir Alex Ferguson asked him back to Old Trafford in order to provide competition for veteran winger Ryan Giggs.
