What do you guys think of Fernandinho? Does he deserve a spot in the WC squad?
Yup 100%
^ What that guy said
Looking at other groups, I'm starting to feel great about our group! Lets get maximum points in the group stages and make all the other teams s**t their pants!

The spine of the team (Júlio César, Silva, Paulinho, Neymar) can not get injured!
go brazill
Brazil call ups for upcoming friendlies vs Hondura & Chile:

Keepers: Julio Cesar, Victor

Defense: Dani Alves, Dante, David Luiz, Maicon, Marcelo, Marquinhos, Maxwell, Thiago Silva

Midfield: Bernard, Hernanes, Lucas Leiva, Luiz Gustavo, Oscar, Paulinho, Ramires, Willian

Attack: Hulk, Jo, Neymar, Robinho
Happy to see Robinho back after a 2 year absent. He's totally deserved it after his great start this season for Milan. Also glad to see Willian get called up, as he's been doing great at Chelsea.

Diego Costa was suppose to be called up, but he announced that he prefers to play for Spain. Not a big loss for Brazil tbh, I love the player, but Brazil is oozing in talent this year that Diego Costa will only be an afterthought
Willian? Great? He hasn't even had the chance to show off and Robinho is faaar from being the player he once was at Santos.

Don't see them starting any official matches
While I'll admit I haven't seen enough of Willian at Chelsea, he's appeared in all of the last 5 games for Chelsea, playing the full 90 in 3 of them, so besides from what I'm hearing that he's been doing well, I'm also assuming he's doing something right to find that much time ahead of all of Chelsea's attacking talent. He's deserved this call-up and has done well so far against Honduras.

As for Robinho... who the hell cares about his Santos days? Are we also going to mention other irrelevant things like how Pato & Kaká aren't the players they once were too right now, despite their good form? The fact is Robinho has been a standout player for Milan in their crummy season so far and that's enough to warrant him a spot with Seleção.

He was brought in as a option in a 4-3-3 as a false 9 since Scolari is short of options in the striker department right now and if you had bother to watch Brazil's game against Honduras, you'd be able to tell that Brazil's attack completely changed with his introduction in the place of Jo. He was phenomenal in his 1st game back for Brazil.

Yes, when it comes to the World Cup, neither of them will be likely to start. But they've both just had their returns to Seleção and are making strong cases to be there in Brazil wearing the Yellow shirt to provide great depth and that's all that really matters
+2
I feel like we Brazilians always have at least one player that we dislike regardless of what they do. We oversee qualities to look a the mistakes that player makes. For me one of those players is Robinho. Having said that, I'm glad Felipão is giving him a chance. As for Kaká I hope he gets the nod even if it's a last minute one. I think unlikely given Felipão's style but I continue hoping nonetheless. He's been amazing lately with Milan. All he really needed was more consecutive playing time. He is having goals and/or assists almost every game. Let Kaká be to this Brazil squad what Ronaldo was to the Brazil squad in 2002.
Brazil call up for upcoming friendlies:

Keepers: Jefferson, Cavalieri, Victor

Defense: Luiz, Dante, Dedé, Henrique, Dani Alves, Maicon, Marcelo, Maxwell

Midfield: Paulinho, Hernanes, Luiz Gustavo, Ramires, Lucas Leiva, Oscar

Forwards: Lucas, Hulk, Bernard, Jô, Pato, Neymar
This team is starting to look a bit more like Brazil now. I'm still not sure who should start in defense; David Luiz or Dante?! I like David Luiz and how he gets forward, but I think Dante has a better touch and seems a bit more composed on the ball. Your thoughts?
I would opt for Dante
+1
agreed.
Luckily, it was just a friendly...
NEYMAR! balla
We are the champions......
Thanks for reminding me the fun time I had when I was watching Bayern v Barca
