All using the example of Heskey does is is add weight to my argument, he played for Liverpool and England despite never having a good scoring record, and the reason is he is a great partner for players up front, and because of him more goals were scored despite him not being greedy, far from it in fact.

Man. Utd. was favorite for the CL title. They could win 5 prizes a few months ago. I think Barca is favorite now. They already have the Cup and I'm sure they'll win the Primera Division.

Man u is the luckiest team in the whole world… The last two UCL finals that man u won where with incredible lucky… The two goals in the last minutes againts Bayern in 99 and the last againts chelsea that terry slip taking the last penalti.

But i thik barcelona is in the best form ever and no team with all the luck in the world can defeat them

And that's why strikers like Heskey score less than 10 goals a season. World class strikers need to be selfish (as in having their eyes constantly on the goal). They are there to score goals, that's their main objective, and that doesn't mean that they don't play with the team. I even think some players are too unselfish, like Iniesta for example. I've seen plays where he's alone with the keeper and instead of scoring himself he passes the ball to a teamplayer who appears beside him. Platini said of Michael Laudrup (who is my favorite player ever) that he was one of the most talented players ever but he lamented about his lack of selfishness which made him score few goals. So i'm not saying selfish with a negative connotation, i think that trait in a striker is (or can be) a good thing. And it can mean that they want to have the glory of scoring a goal, but they also carry the responsibility of not missing.

You can't be serious. United's defence is one of the best around, and a hell of a lot better than Barca's. Barcelona look shaky at full strength at the back, never mind which how weakened they'll be in Rome.
