Wow, Barcelona really fired on all cylinders, congratulations Barca. All Primera Liga opponents and Chelsea must be quaking in their boots already! Looks like they seem to have the La Liga in their bag, unless something spectacular's gonna happen in the next few weeks (unlikely as it seems to be for now).
United vs. Barca would be a worthy CL final, IMHO.
(And of course, as usual I'll be ignoring pieces of dust, pollen, howling dogs, what-have-you comments *grin*)

Who ever thought that barca couldnt play without messi up top and puyol in the middle…Should be on the ground doing 500 push ups… This proves that barca dont rely on players… barca are the best in the world and will win all trophy's!

Barca are amazing. Sevilla is a good side but Barca tore them apart with the best player in the world sitting on the bench. Chelsea aren't going to them and Arsenal/Man United aren't going to beat them.

I think Xavi, Iniesta, and Messi are all probably equal in terms of they are the best at what they do for the team — Messi just has a little more flair.
I absolutely love Messi on the left and Iniesta on the right and Xavi in the middle – it's an unbeatable trio.
Of course, Henry and Eto'o are good as well but these three IMO are on a different planet.

why can't football matches be as simple and beautiful as this? only if they have the likes of xavi, iniesta et al.
but the way Etoo squandered some chances worries me; the english teams in champions league may not be so generous with the space.

Iniesta is an amazing player. He's been one of my favorite players for some years now. He just needs to improve his goalscoring ability. He should be scoring more goals, but the way in which he makes the team play is something to behold. But Messi despite all his flair and dribbling ability, also combines extremely well with his teammates and he makes the difference for his team. He already has 33 goals and 14 assists this season. That's direct involvement in 47 of the goals Barça has scored, not to mention all the fouls that he wins and goals that he produces although without scoring or having the final pass.
