Teams like Liverpool sustain only in the short run but not season after season – they have used their advantage of a less busy season to keep their legs busy enough to get big results in these big games. We all know how they were struggling only a month back specially in that FA Cup game against Everton they were made to look like fools. I think Manchester United is the club of the century who have demonstrated true potential for developing young talent and cruising to glory season after season. In this matter Rafa will never ever match the legendary SAF even if sun starts rising in the west !!

It is funny that you came up with this kind of excuse for loosing…a good team should have the ability of pulling themselves together even during the busiest moment…
What do you mean by Liverpool on sustaining for a short while, through out the season, they have only lost twice and beaten manchester united twice. Obviously, Liverpool have proven themselves as the big guns in the European championship, that, nobody can deny, but in English Premier League, Liverpool has suffered bad 18 years, and manchester united have enjoyed a fantastic 18 years…thats all.
But that is not appropriate to say that manchester united have fabulous over the past 18years because Liverpool allowed tham to,because evidently they deserved the credits.
The same applies to Liverpool now, they ave been performing very well, displaying wonderful football over the year, so, they deserve the all the credits…it just seems that, Liverpool are taking back the long lost glory from manchester united…after all…they are the historic champions.
So, the lesson is, just accept man uni's defeat and ambrace the the upcoming champions….Liverpool
PS- You have no rights to say that Liverpool only thrive for a short period…they were the giants for almost a century, Manchester united only booked its name for the past 2 decades.

friedel cannot be blamed for the loss, liverpool would beat any team that play them that day. yes goalkeeper was lucky arbeloa is defender but he should not have been sent off, torres momentum went into friedel and i think he also didnt see how much acceleration torres has like vidic last week.

FA has rescinded the Friedel red card. I think the Rooney second yellow was also unnecessary. Liverpool were given another favour in the Real Madrid match when the first 2 goals should not have stood. This goes to say what amount of spoon-feeding Liverpool football club needs to keep up and yet we are not sure if they will win the titles. I think you Liverpool supporters should drown yourselves in shame, you could never win anything in the straight way.

i think you are under some kind of hallucination what have you eaten ? This season we have lost only 2 matches more than you in the Premier League and overall it is the same as you lot were dumped off the FA and Carling Cups early. That said before this season we did doubles over you in 2 consecutive seasons and in the 2005/2006 season we beat you once in the PL. You lots have not won the PL in 18 years, the only cup you won was a fluke victory over AC Milan after being outplayed for 120 minutes. Your domestic position among the Big 4 has been under question time and again. Is there need to say more ?

we also won fa cup and maybe u forget that when ferguson came to manchester he had to build a team which took 7 years before he won title. it was same situation for benitez when he came to liverpool. manchester should have been beating liverpool more times because they have been better team but this season liverpool is progressing and getting better each season that is why they beat manchester twice. wat an idiot u are as well to say istanbul is fluke we did same thing in fa cup agasint west ham, we are the only team to do it in cup final something manchester will never be able to do.
