I saw some pretty rough tackles from Barcelona there (yes, a few from Espanyol too) and although I thought the tackle that got Barcelona a man down wasn't worthy of a red card....I feel that sooner or later Barcelona would've gone to 10 men anyway. None of the goals scored were controversial so in that sense the result is clear. 1st Espanyol goal was FCB's poor defending at the end (just before cross was curled in) and 2nd goal was....well....Valdes' major cock-up of the month (though admittedly Casillas, against Betis, almost plummeted to Valdes' levels of momentary daftness). YaYa's goal was good, but it was Espanyol's night, end of story. Espanyol will deserve to be in la liga if they accumulate enough points by the end of the season to remain in the top flight, just like any other team. Now stop crying cules!
