Mallorca is ranked near the bottom of La Liga. I think Messi just got the day off against them. It also gave Iniesta a chance to play farther up the field as he is just coming back from injury.

Barcelona ace, Lionel Messi was the last to return from his Christmas break after he was granted an extra few days to holiday back home in Argentina.
The 21-year-old finally returned to Catalan soil yesterday but even then, his reunion with the rest of the squad for training was delayed after a strike by air-traffic controllers at Barajas airport forced flight complications.
