That was a rather epic game. it had all the suspense, tragedy, milestones and comebacks in one game.

AC milan's coach is on crack, Dinho should be starting every game. And for all of those Dinho haters, you also are on crack, one must confess that he is one of the top 3 players to ever play the game.

Pippo Inzaghi is an incredible player, always finds the back of the net…

Pompey best team on the night, really unlucky AC were blown away by the atmosphere and completely outplayed

thats exactly the difference between pompey and someone like ac, ac would have won a game like this, and not give it away in the last minute…european expierience that is.

what do you mean pompey were outplayed milan? milan would have won it 5-3 if not inzaghi hattrick on the post & crossbar??

Great game
Lol at duke.. Did you just watch the highlights or the actual game?
Well played to portsmouth, from a man u fan.. Before the game i was looking forward to a good display from AC Milan.. But it was Portsmouth who controlled most of the game..
Portsmouth played amazingly, all over AC, great passing, great crowd behind them, all playing better than i have ever seen them play.. AC only showed signs of their brilliance from time to time with little half chances, from nothing, in which the bar was hit several times..
It all looked good for Pompey till a very debatible free kick, then again the class of the goal made up for it.. Then last 10 mins was all AC milan, pompey attemted to stop them and were very unlucky to concede at the end..
Hope all goes well for pompey in the next few games in europe now…

Great game…both teams deserved to win…in the end neither did. Pompey AND Milan need better D, the goalies could NOT be faulted on any of the 4 goals.

well played by porthsmouth. if only they couldve held on for just a bit longer.
lewispompey | November 29th, 2008 @ 11:42 am | | |
ronaldinihos free kick wasnt a free kick, he dived before the player made contact. and the reff didnt play to the whistle for the free kick to be taken. so james was caught on the wrong side still organising the wall. ive seen him save ones like that more than once for us. but what chance do you have if the refs a plank. other than that. milan could of had 2 early goals hitting the post and crossbar. but its a little hard to take after being so close 2-0 and bossing the game. dont think i will ever hear an atmosphere like the again for a long time! the stand was actually bouncing :-) and only 19'000 fans made that wall of noise

If you want to see atmosphere, go watch Turkish teams…

No doubt James could've saved Dinho's shot, but he wasn't paying attention. His fault. Great game played, I just knew the comeback was coming though

i still think dinho's free kick was class. he's finally coming back to form.
