We played well today but that’s what big teams are supposed to do. Win difficult games but I think we’ll do well this season if we can play like that

As a Chelsea fan I am pleased with the win, but I must say that I hope the defense tightens up a bit; they looked vulnerable. Also, congrats to Wigan on a good game, they are a dangerous team right now. I’m looking forward to a good season!

Beautiful goal by Deco. Wigan looked more of the dangerous side but thank god we have Cech! Cmon chelsea, forget last season and bring in the trophies!

I was very pleased by the play of Palacios in this game. Other then that handball he played a tremendous game for us
