I’m glad Turkey won they really deserved it beacause they batteld with heart. The Czech’s are a good team(having seen their quarter finals in Porto against Denmark in 2004), but this year wasn’t their year. But what will they do without their keeper?

If we played the way we did against Czech agaist Portugal then the result would have been different.
I don’t think Holland can beat Turkey 6 - 0 as you are claiming as Turkey has character more so then some other teams as I think the world witnessed it in the last 15 minutes of the game as they had also witnessed it b4 in the 2002 WC.

I doubt Croatia will field a weakened side because they will want to finish first in order to avoid playing Portugal. So, yeah, I also believe it will be Croatia Vs Turkey. I would defnitely put my money on Croatia in that match. Sorry to any Turkey fans.

this was a great comeback,
turkey just got lucky though. czech were dumb and fell apart. nothing that turkey did really, czech lost it, turkey didn’t win it.
Also, sure the keeper pushed him, but the stupid pussy drops to the ground like he was shot. I hate anyone that does that. I dont care if they are on the team i’m going for, if you are a poor sport, and dive, you suck.

Lethal 15 minutes. Our team collapsed completely and Turks scored two lucky goals. Very very very bad luck for Czechs.
Anyway, only a fool would hope that the mediocre Turks can beat Croatia or any team that is able to defend its two-goal lead and will not break down from the sight of “we are there”.
Without Volkan and Aureliano, Turks can start packing their luggage right now! No chance for them at all!

I see some guys underrate turkey’s success. They did a grat job and deserve more credit. They play with heart but it’s bot only heart, it’s about talent. Turkey has a very young team and they have great future ahead.

I wouldnt say destroyed us. They were lethal with some of luck involved, and I have to admit, from 0:2 to 3:2 in last 15 minutes -> good job Turk guys.
But stay realistic and dont overrate this victory - if you want to succes in next game, you have to improve your play. Such a game use to occur once in tournament, so dont get yourself to similar situation for second time !!!

Should have been in the 2nd Round of the 2006 World Cup
Should have been in the quarterfinals of Euro 2008
Euro 2004 was the only time they performed well.
Okay, this might be a small country with a small league(in comparison to the big 5), but they really have had some great players during that time and they should have done more than just one good tournament.

Oh man, its hopeless and funny to see those Turks here being drunk by and applauding to coincidental victory over a team that stopped playing.
For 75 minutes Turks played nothing but shit and were lucky that other 2 goals had not been scored (Koller and Polak). The ref did not give a clear penalty kick for leg in face of Polak…
And this is the team that is supposed to win the EURO? Gee, are you Turks always that idealistic and naive? I cannot wait to see your coach gesticulating towards the 4th ref again after you are fucked with Croatia, and faces of Turkish team after they suffer the bitter defeat.

To the people putting down the Turkish national team: If you’ve learned anything from this tournament it’s that you cannot discount the “weaker” teams in any match-up. Germany were favoured to beat Croatia but look what happened there. Who’s to say the Turks won’t be able to pull out something like that against the Croats?
