Switzerland deserved the win and it’s nice to see them get at least one win even if they’re eliminated and they were playing Portugal’s reserves. It shouldn’t have been a penalty, but what do you expect, it’s the host advantage!
Portugal will come out even stronger next game with Ronaldo, Deco and co.

well, switzerland deserves to win this game, it sure wasn’t prtugals first team but the swiss were so unlucky in their first two games because they were always outshot their opponents. unfortunately goals is the only thing what counts in football…

I don’t mind this loss because the Swiss at least deserv a win for the first time ever in the final stages of this competition. But…Quaresma, Postiga, Paulo Ferreira, Miguel, ouch, they really sucked the bag, speacialy Quaresma really disapointing, I don’t even think Porto will want him back. He’s really developing the worst of the attitudes…Miguel totaly lost his breath, Veloso the same, this is no 2nd line this is crap…we are finished if the first line get’s in trouble..

that guy went down so easy for that penalty kick. its a shame to see guys dive. sure, he touched him, but the guy was diving before the guy was even touching him, he knew he was in the box and he Shamefully took advantage of it. too bad teh refs dont have video replay of stuff like that.
NO respect for anyone who dives. ton’s of respect for guys who keep themselves up, like VanNistelrooy in hollands first game i think it was…
why wasn’t ronaldo playing? just too keep him un-injured? i say dont let off on crappier teams, play your best team. they lost, and they shouldn’t have.
