Any idiot? One and a half players offside, and 30 000 “idiots” saw it. Seems the Azzuri have trouble with offsides this Euro.

Toni was perfectly onside, and as he was the one who scored the goal, that is all that matters. Italy should have gotten the first goal, in my opinion. Other than that, hats off to Romania for superb performance in one of the most difficult groups ever to exist in a final tournament.

At the time of the pass, Toni was onside by almost an entire meter. Since he scored the goal, the other Italian players’ positions at the time of the pass were irrelevant. It seems that Nomad must be related to the referee, Webb, who called the penalty against Poland. Anyone who argues against Toni’s goal clearly doesn’t know the rules or is an “idiot”!

Italian team sucks as usual, the sad part is that they will win France by the same boring game, while Romania will lose to unstoppable Netherlands. So Italy will proceed to group of 8, while Romania will not get enough points. That’s always how it works with Italian team. They may even get the championship title as they did on World Cup by boring uninteresting games just dragging to finals.

Don’t be so sure about that dagger. Romania pulled out 4 points from 2 qualification matches against Nethernalds. Moreover the dutch team is already qualified and they can’t lose the first place. We shall see…

Holland should lose to romanio so they won’t have to face france and italy again in the semi finals
But van Basten already said they will play their A game against Romania, but will probably give some players their well earned rest.

Dream on dude. France will beat Italy. Donadoni has to change the old team. You can not win the chanpionship like that. Italy has a lot of luck. If Mutu scored from that penalty, than Italy would be eliminated as well as france.
Don’t forget that Romania won the group with Holland , and they can qualify if they lose less than 2.

For once our Italian drama-queens are not successful with their usual game of bad sportmanship, ballerina behaviour, playing-not-to-lose and referrees acting in their favour…And just look how upset they are…Wonderful, just wonderful…The Dutch and the Romanians might just have paid football a major service. Next team to go is that other collection of sissies called Portugal.

Yeah, any idiot with television replays. If you’re so good why don’t you go be a referee and show us how it’s done. As for the penalty, if you follow the rules to the letter that is a penalty, but those kinda situations are very rarely given penalty, so it was a harsh decision, and all credit to Buffon for saving it.

referees a determining italy’s performance, again and again.
we need the fourth referee to be able to re-watch plays in a screen and tell the truth to the world. if not always, at least when a doubtful goal is scored

Hey that’s how i have felt for years, adding to this the 2004 butcher football of Greece (fwiw i had chosen not to even watch the finals of 2004). I hope not to see Italy and Greece qualify with their football. I cannot make a bet against Romania and France as Romania plays so well, but i wanna watch Henry one last time
