that was a ridiculous call by the referee. they called the foul on Terry in between the keeper and Campbell I believe, but every player seemed to make a clean effort for the ball.
also, isn’t it the referee’s prerogative to decide whether play resumes on a whistle after a foul? if so, that’s awful that the ref would allow Portugal a cheap scoring chance after such an important call.

I was at that game… england were soo lazy in the last half hour of normal time. We were too reliant on rooney in those championships. Loads of hot women in the stadium though :d/
