Don’t write the US off so quickly. altidore and dempsey are class players who could play for just about any club. donovan is a good playmaker. guzan will be a phenomenal goalkeeper. 2010 here we come!

Honestly, wait for the next 10 years or so, once football is more of an influence in the US as it is in other nations (right now everything revolves around Bball and american football) more of the USA’s fine athletes will turn to football along with better skill and passion

terry is overrated.
lampard is not involve in any passing that lead to goal
chelsea players get into the england squad not on merit but on the sudden barking and lying of mourino that chelsea have the best defender and midfielder.
If not, y are the supposingly better players being shunted.

I think capello is trying to improve the passing in England because I swear, englands playing better than last year. Their passing is becoming more better. Now imagine England pas pas pas then goal, then the next posesion Bekam cross gol. If this continues england could be one heck of a team

Altidore and Dempsey are not good enough to play for any team in the world. Also, how can the USA try and make fun of England for not qualifying, who do we play??? NOBODY, I swear everytime I see a USA game on were playing Mexico or Guatamala. As for the game I woulda loved to have seen Walcott get some minutes.

You’re talking ********, Rio and Terry are clearly the best central defenders we have, and Lampard wasn’t even onthe pitch so he couldn’t have been involved in anything that led up to the goal, though he was quiet I’ll admit.

You fucktard, John Terry is the ideal captain. He is a die hard defender who isn’t scared to do whatever it takes for his club. Although he missed the penalty in Moscow he is a prime example of a captain – someone who leads their team right to the end. I didn’t see Rio Ferdinand anywhere near the penalty spot during the shootout – Gutless, that’s not what a captain is about, why would England want a captain that would be too scared to lead his own country? John Terry is the best captain England could have without a doubt.
It is clear that you know absolutely nothing about football, “Terry is overrated” Hahaha don’t make me laugh, he has saved Chelsea and England on many occasions!
