Im an Arsenal supporter, but Torres deserves all the credit in the world for what hes done this season. Hes been AWESOME. I was surprised that Liverpool were the only ones who went after him last summer when he became available from Atletico, smart move there. And then I never understood why critics thought hed fail. I may be an Arsenal supporter, but we are all still fans of football and great footballers; and Fernando Torres is a special footballer and I knew he would be dangerous this year. His speed, his control, his touch, everything was mesmerizing. He is easily the best striker in the world. I know that’s a bold statement, but his record doesn’t lie.

He is a real predator ,against Arsenal he was quiet for most of the match and then made that superb goal. I think he will continue to score a lot of goals the coming seasons .
Also he is not so arrogant like other topplayers I don’t name any names (read C.R) and because of that defenders won’t want to break his legs .

torres is definitely such a great player.. always liked him but I gotta admit that he really did play an extremely good season this year! ..so consistent in making a goal of the chances.

u are a true fan of football…i m a liverpool fan but i luv the way arsenal play..it should have been arsenal liverpool in the champions league finals to give all football fans better taste of what chelsea and man u did tonight. i cant wait for next season. Good luck

Torres is a different kind of striker, not as fancy as le tissier but at the same time not as straight forward and clean like Henry. He had an amazing season.

Torres is not the best striker in the world. That is indeed too bold a statement. But I will not deny he is really good.

very true…
rite now, liverpool has proven so many times tat they could win matches even without big names in the team i.e torres and gerard and now i think the whole team deserves to be called a team made up of stars…unlike man united , whose solely dependent cristiano ronaldo to win matches….(i am not simply saying this, but u can see ther the performanceearly of the season without ronnaldohey sucked big time)
believe it or not….this season…liverpool is gonna go with triplets …
and the epl title is gonna be all theirs..
