Gee instead of paying that hefty price for Becks L.A. should have gotten a better defensive line and some finishing training for Landon, no wonder he made no impact in Europe.

my goodness! Beckham had at least 3 goals set up in the first half that were missed by his Donovan and others.

Toronto is one of the worst teams in the league btw.

How the **** Donovan can miss that first 3 or 4 chances?:-?

Donovan should have had 5 goals. Cronin is the worst “professional” goalkeeper I have ever seen. That guy needs to lose his job. I wish Babayaro would have stayed because anything is better than the dumbasses playing in the back for Galaxy.

Becks had three assists that were missed in the first half. If that was a club in Europe, it would have been 3-0. But hey, it is the MLS after all. Wish you were here Becks, we f’ing miss you.

Becks is finished! poor guy

Beckham is so ****, he cant do anything but put in a long ball. i didnt see him make one move or nice play on the ground the whole game… donovan is the only one on the team who did anything worthwhile….TFC deserved this one. Far better goalkeeping.
wigan4life | April 14th, 2008 @ 11:49 pm | | |
thanks for the loss donovan

Hey TFCCCC,
you don’t know **** about soccer… Beckham was probably player of the match…
Finishing by Donovan was ridiculous… it look like any division 1 team from England could have beaten LA Galaxy’s defensive line… The Defence didn’t look like they wanted to play at all…
Seriously, the tempo needs to be faster… I really miss English Football…

LA is the real madrid of the MLS. Buying Beckham and Donavon and still loosing against Toronto. Beckham isn’t finished, he simply never started.
Go TFC! GO HABS GO!

To H:
The tempo wasn’t bad. The pitch was 40 degrees C (100 degrees F). In England, it’s not hard to run when it’s 15 degrees.

beckham was not bad.. he played really efficiently.. you dont have to run around to be good players.. just get your job done, and beckham’s job was to assist the team..
and it was a perfect example of “beckham is only as good as the strikers”.. in manchester, nistelrooy scored lots of goals because of beckham.. and we all know that nistelrooy is a great finisher.. in england, beckham was so influential.. rooney will benefit greatly from him..
and i still cant believe donovan found a way to ruin such a great set up play.. disappointing..

donovan ***? nice to see Beckham slicing up the back line with his patented through balls-hope he stays healthy
