i dont understand why benitez doesnt play babel as a forward or second striker more. He played that role at ajax and was a gun. I understand he is fast and good for the wings but getting to fast runners down the middle allows alot of counter attacking measures and rest for torres.

I didnt think i would agree with a manchester fan but finalazy is spot on. All ******* Arsenal supporters just have sour grapes because we ended any chance they had of winning a trophy this season. They also all seam to forget the goal that he scored after the penalty, putting us through anyway! aside from arrr’s bullshit, Babel is a great player and will be a superstar in the future. I just wish that one of the Liverpool coaches would teach him to cross with his right foot. This would make him the complete package.

He didn’t play forward all the time for Ajax. I know what Rafa is doing, he is doing exactly what Wenger did with Henry. He plays him on the wing for a season on a bit, so they understand beating a man, crossing, receiving, using lightning pace etc. Babel will feature as a stiker next season maybe or definitely the season after.

What is with you Arsenal f*ckwits who feel the need to moan on and on about the penalties. You lot were bested by Liverpool on Tuesday, now face up to loss. 5-3 on aggregate is NOT a scoreline to dwell on penalties that could have been. While you might play “great football”, Arsenal have to be the biggest bunch of sore losers. If everyone thought Sir Alex moaned a lot, he pales in comparison to Arsene “Whining B*tch” Wenger.
Babel is absolutely stunning. Like Fernando, he’s adjusted incredibly well to the Premiership and I can’t wait to see his talent develop further.
