Ronaldo’s backheel flick may not have been the most impressive goal technically or had any EPL significance in the greater scheme of things, but it was definately EPL goal of the month..
It was a backheel THROUGH a defenders legs, centered between 2 defenders who were arguably in range to stop the shot, and ultimately past the keeper who was standing right there. I’m not saying he planned that out.. but seriously, you’ll never see that again in your life.

totally agree, ronaldo’s backheel flick is the goal of the month..it weren’t an absolute scorcher…but talk about improvisation, thats pure skill and vision!

Whittingham’s goal takes it. To be able to pull out a pinpoint shot surrounded by 5 players in such a tight spot, amazing

I think if it wasn’t Ronaldo who scored that backflick it wouldnt have been so popular… It was a great goal, and perhaps in some ways its better than Whittingham’s.
But I still think Whittingham scored the best goal though. The fact that he doesnt even play for the premiership should make that goal even sweeter.
Anyway, both are great goals, but I would have voted for Whittingham!

Whittingham’s goal was realy a nice one.
Ronaldo’s backheel was sloppy and not as “original” as you might think. Probably wouldn’t be on the video if it weren’t Ronaldo.
Ronaldo’s freekick was superb.
But…Matejoksy’s goal was simply the best.

Ok, so the goal from Ronaldo was alright. I dont know whats wrong with all the ladies here, i believe that the goal sucked. I would still go for the goal from Kean it was the best and by the way i also believe that Man U suck too.

All great goals, Ronaldo’s bacheel was the best out of all of them, although I have to give credit to Mascherano since he rarely scores, let alone goals of that quality.

some decent goals, think Ronaldo will win it given his over all recent form.
Ronaldo v Aston Villa
Keane v Chelsea
Ronaldo v Bolton

No denying the backflick was good, but the keeper shoulda saved it, Matejovskys was immense but Whittingham skinned 3 players in a tiny space, then squeezed out such an accurate shot. Whittingham? Pure class

i do love how the commentator says that u wont see anyone else other than ronaldo do that, not that kanu did several seasons ago for arsenal, or a getafe striker did it against spurs in the uefa cup 1st group match season just finished… dont get me wrong ronaldo is a living legend but theres praise and then there is just plain brown nosing
