it was kinda sad that no one ran forward to congratulate or celebrate with bendtner for the goal, except theo…then again it was not that surprising considering his disputes with teammates (adebayor) and his unbelievably stupid interception of cesc’s goal in wednesday’s champions league game.

Crouch’s goal is pure class. It’s really disappointing Benitez hasn’t given him enough chances for him to prove his class.
Anyway, as an Arsenal fan, this result has thrown us out of the title race. Only 3-5% chances to win the EPL. I wonder if Taylor had not tackled Eduardo, Arsenal would not have 5 draw games in a row.
And about Bendtner, hmm, he has talent to be one of the superstar but his attitude is just ridiculous. That’s why most of the time he’s just a substitue player.
Eduardo!!! Please come back!!!! =(

you forgot Rocicky is MIA too .. wish we had him up front…
for next year we need a right midfield player (common Eboue?!) and another striker to partner Adebayor.. Bendtner sucks. he might be a good sub but that’s about it…. his touches are heavy and we simply isn’t ready for a big team like Arsenal… loan him out for a bit..

Arsenal fanboy tears taste so goooooooooood.
ZJ | April 5th, 2008 @ 11:11 pm
i agree. we do need eduardo back!!
if all 5 strikers are in good health and the right mood, we’ll have a pretty strong frontline. but right now, except adebayor & theo who don’t have any major problems, eduardo is out for the season, robin turns out to be just as injury prone as rosicky, and bendter really needs lessons for his attitude and bad temper….

Who’s in 4th? That’s right, c*nts!

R.I.P – here lies the gunners title hopes,
now it all comes down to the 2nd leg in CL, this is the last chance for either team to continue for a shot at glory, who will rise to the occasion? will the gunners choke the CL like they did the premieriship or will we see the end of rafa reign at lpool? i hope its a good game, at least a draw will not be the final result
Mista Footy | April 5th, 2008 @ 11:51 pm
well a 0-0 can be the only outcome for a draw, but hopefully someone will find the back of the net
Arsenal | April 6th, 2008 @ 12:27 am
dont just think that liverpool got a draw away means something. Liverpool did nothing at all and u happy about that lol. Home and Away advantage means nothing for the top four teams. Liverpool lost at home 3 times and Arsenal 0 this season . Arsenal will beat liverpool at anfield just like what we did last year, 6 – 3 and 3 – 1.

its not that sad because bendtner equalised and no need for celebration and u can see flamini get the ball and everyone run back cause they wanted to win it.

Uh Arsenal also played with most of its reserve players… In any case, I had strong belief that Arsenal was going to win the EPL and it is so disappointing to see them slip right at the end of the season… Unless Middlesbrough can pull an upset on Sunday and beat Man Utd, our title hopes are down the drain… I think that now it would be smart to direct out attention to the CL now, were capable of scoring at Anfield… and I think that if at the end of the 90 minutes Arsenal and Liverpool are at 1 – 1 as the 2 previous games were, I am certain that Arsenal will win it in extra time… it seems as if we always raise our tempo towards the end of the game and create a lot of chances at that stage and I think that if we can have a bit more time to play we will surely score, but thats my opinion… Arsenal to win it at Anfield with the score at 2-1.

Yeah, I forgot rosicky too. lol =D
Rosicky and Eduardo are both key players. Their simple touch can make a game different. I have never seen Arsenal plays “very decent” for the last couple games.
Well, I mean they might have played good, but the “passing” style of typical Arsenal during the half season is just not there.
The players have a lot of ball possessions, but in the end, they just keep possesing without creating a brilliant goal chances and just decent goal chances.
That’s why we need Rosicky and Eduardo to add more attacking power. And, again, if Thierry Henry were still in Arsenal, I believe the title would be ours.
Thierry + Adebayor = Lord of the Goals : The Two Towers. =DDD

Why isn´st it possible to watch MOTD on Dailymotion?
Where can I watch it in a similar quality?
Google video has unfortunately a bad quality!!!

I still think that Arsene needs to open up the pocket books a bit. I have always thought we needed a world class striker to replace Thierry. I feel that’s all we are missing, we have all the other pieces. I agree with those above as well that said the team hasn’t been the same since Eduardo’s injury, in fact I feel that it has been blatantly obvious as the standings show. It really affected them mentally. And as much as I love Perse, he is too prone to injury. Adebeyor needs help and another world class striker will open up the front for both of them.

This really shows that some Arsenal fans are very, very hollow.
Shame on all those fans who are slagging off players left right and center. It is alright to put in good crtisicm, but to say ‘ Oh, Bendtners ****, sell him ‘ you are a **** Arsenal fan. He actually equalised for us if you had not noticed. People are doing the same for Gallas. Thumbs up to Spawn, though. He is one of few Man U fans who are actually nice, and decent, unlike this idiot gez.
As Arsenal fans, we should not just say who to sell and buy. If you didn’t notice, just because you want a player, it doesn’t mean he would come to Arsenal anyway. If all these fans who think they know better that Arsene were actually the boss, we would probably be in last place right now.

I won’t argue with Man Utd fans.
But let me ask you one question, would Man Utd still be like Man Utd now if there were no Cristiano Ronaldo?
MANU19000 | April 6th, 2008 @ 5:28 pm
Why are those United Hater keep saying about play without CR?
CR is wearing No. 7 in United jersey not Arsenal! Is it because you all are too jealous about his talent and he play for United?
Next time before you ask the same question, ask yourself again should Arsenal play with F4? Liverpool without G8? Chelsea without Cech? AC without Kaka? Barce without Messi?
Wise up!!!
ZJ | April 7th, 2008 @ 11:52 am
goal scoring is definitely a very important way to evaluate a player’s contribution to the team. but in terms of being a good midfielder, i don’t think cr is doing as great as kaka or cesc. look at the number of his assists — only 3!! i think he better convert to a forward; he never passes but scores. lol.
