wow, what a breath taking perfomance from the lads, looks like Man Utd are beginning to turn on the style, on this form, the trophy is not far away, Roma must be a tad woried right now, Rooney showed why he is the most valuable player in the Man utd team, he has undoubted loyalty( I love Ronaldo but that boy will soon move to another club, I love him but I dont think for a second he is as loyal as Rooney), notice how well the rest of the team plays when our number 10 is on fire, Tevez comes to life when Rooney plays, Ronaldo is at his best when Rooney is playing well, If Rooney stays in that sort of form, Utd will be bringing in a trohpy or two.

Man-u is nothing without CR. CR scored and created the rest of the goals that he did not score. Simple..it’s simple:
Manu=CR
Manu – CR = Nothing
I love CR. he is Awesome….

You are not alone mate. I did watch the game live and I watched the highlights not just in English but in other languages as well. I don’t think I would get tired of watching it again and again.
We played as a team as usual but today the level of brilliance and creativity was simply out of this world. Ronaldo’s goal has to go down as one of the best goals of all times.
I was a little bit worried about Rooney’s goal drought in past couple of weeks and I even commented on this site few days ago…oh boy! I felt like I spoke too soon…Don’t get me wrong, I never doubted his ablilities but I was just concerned. Fortunately, I don’t have to worry about that anymore because he is back. God help Roma.
Our defense was solid, the mid field looked like our training ground and up front, the score sheet tells you what it has been. All in all, we were excellent and I hope this form continues.
If we play the same sort of football in Rome, I believe we will return with a convincing win.
Side Note : There are some soar Arsenal losers who might come here and say something shity, Don’t even waste your time responding to them… they are probably little kids trying to get your attention and the best way to deal with those kind of people is to simply ignore them.
Glory United!!!
Peace!
MU Without CR | March 30th, 2008 @ 12:56 am
I would love to see Man-u without CR. They worth nothing without him and all Man-u fans know this very well.
Well, here is some good news for Man-u fans..CR’s new girl friend is Spanish…a step closer to move to spain…i totally see him moving to real madrid soon..I don’t see him staying long with Man-u…Nani will follow…Mark my word…

Man Utd are not a one man team, Ronaldo is just reaping the rewards of being in a formidable team, they have helped him become the current best player in the world, without Rooney, Giggs, Tevez and Scholes, Ronaldo would not score the same number of goals, man utd have become stronger as a team, very solid, last season Ronaldo was the star but this time around he is only better coz the team has become stronger, if you are going to blame one man for being the heart beat of United, its gotto be Rooney, who even maradona said is better than Ronaldo, imagine Rooney being on Ronaldos current form..its a scary thought, and the thing is I think he is gonna get there with a bit more work.Good thing for us is that they both play for manutd!!! so u can bet your house that I am not complaining!! ha ha ha, Ferguson is a genius simply for signing those two.

Seriously i want ronaldo to get injured so he cant score anymore, did you hear the commentator say that he should continue his performance in order to win the Premiership player of the year award. I think if he stopped now, he would still win, he scored so many goals, 35 for a midfielder, damn.
cory | March 30th, 2008 @ 3:23 am
What a game.
Ronaldo was perfect. 10/10 A goal and 3 assists. What more do you want? Some say hes not a playmaker, only a scorer. Well, he just proved that wrong. Amazing, so much class from him.
Tevez- Great job. Defensively hard working and got a goal. 8/10
Rooney- FINALLY!!!! 2 goals! great job. But you could have had 4 easily. 5 maybe. You hit the pole and missed another 1 v K, but still a great job. 9/10
Giggs- Solid game 7/10
Carrick- Great passing. 8/10
Scholes- the maestro had a hand in most things. 9/10
Anderson- Play brilliant after coming on. 9/10
Defense- Did give up too many chances. Kep the CS. nice job. 8/10

Jesus christ villa were awful in that game. Looked like that had lost before the even kicked off. And if rooney was a good striker he would have gotten a hat trick or 6 goals villa were so bad. And i agree Man U – CR = 0 Rooney isn’t 1/2 or 1/4 player CR is and u paid everton 30 million pounds for that **** classic. Too bad CR can’t play in big games and especially he is **** for Portugal :((

Incredible team performance. To those saying Ronaldo will move to another club soon, i disagree. He has the most important things; As a club Manchester is currently second to none, he has transplanted family and friends to england and is settled, the only issue is geography. I think as he ages football may become less important to him (this could be accelerated if he is gets trophies this season and in Euro 2008) and then he may become more serious about moving. But unless he wants to start a family or loses some of his drive after reaching the summit (see Ronaldinho)
theres no reason to move. Ha I guess I just don’t want him to move come on Devils

Sure, if the hole team is in good form..everyone plays better, including Ronaldo… Rooney has more loyality? why? He left Everton..and Ron lef Sporting…and moved to MAN U and they still are there. And saying that Ronaldo just plays good when Rooney plays good, is a joke…because it was ronaldo who was carrying MAN U the past weeks when Rooney was clearly out of his form. And the last game it was Ronaldo giving all the assists to him and reanimating his striker instinct…so dont mess with the facts ;)

ronaldo is amazing.. thought i think man u can play without him – take the 4-0 thrashing over arsenal for example
Ronaldo is definately man u’s best player – but they also have a ton of other good players and are not a one man team at all

THIS TEAM STUDIES EVERY MOVE TOWARDS THE GOAL, PLAYS SEEM TO BE COREOGRAPHED. AMAZING. THE ABILITY TO CHANGE ANY LINE UP AT ANY GIVEN TIME AND YET EVERYONE FIT’S IN LIKE A PUZZLE PIECE. THAT’S CARLOS QUEIROZ WORK FOR SURE. IT WILL BE SAD TO SEE HIM GO TO BENFICA NEXT SEASON, WHAT A STUPID CLUB HE’S GOING TO SIGN UP FOR.

Ronaldo is playing the games of his life and at this rate he could be a player to be seconded in centuries. Rooney is a bit different kind of players who adds determination and resilience into the team and can take on any damn defence … together they go to make Mna United = best team in the world
looney | March 30th, 2008 @ 11:12 pm
Top class performance from a top class team. The current team is the best in a long while. Rooney, CR7, Tevez – we all know. Once Nani, Anderson and even Owen settles in, things will get even more interesting. Fletcher and Carrick have exceeded expectations. The back 4 are as solid as ever. Pique and Simpson are very promising. Kuszczak has shown what he can do. Foster is not far off as well.I might be a bit premature to say this but i think a golden age for Man U football is beginning. The last round being 1996 – 2000. Been a fan since i was 10 and that was 22 years ago so this is just wonderful to watch.
Go United!:d

Well as much as I wanted arsenal to win to league title. It’s clear that of late ManU is performing better. As a lover of the beautiful game tho…I must say they’re amazing to watch.
Now for the ppl that are acting like Rooney is a bigger reason for ManU’s sucess than CR. LOL. I know a looney bin when I hear one, and thats looney. I care not if when he’s missing games they lose. He’s always missin the damn goal…CR is literally carrying the offensive load. Rooney is good tho, but he has missed alot of chances that would have gotten many other players benched. That being said…he’s a great creater of chances. But CR is doing that and scoring.

romas faces were probably something like this watching the game :o

overmars- Ronaldo scored on Arsenal, and on Liverpool. Hes the star of Portugal. Get it straight.
arsenal/henry- i appreciate an arsenal fan who understands Rooney. Most just say hes trash. Hes just a bad finisher, he creates a ridiculous # of chances. CR has been the catalyst of the team. This year and last. But hes not the only one on the team.
