Quaresma started off with Sporting, and was with Barcelona before settling with Porto. Moving from Sporting to Porto is like moving from United to Pool- you're supposed to rather die than even contemplate it. As for Totti, if you ask me I think he has recognised very early on that it's better to be the darling of one team than move around in search of "THE TEAM".
