Getafe ended Real Madrid’s unbeaten run in cruel circumstances. While the majority of the home side were celebrating an Arjen Robben goal that had been disallowed, Getafe launched a rapid counter-attack that was finished off by Ikechukwu Uche.
Nah…i watched that game and still no footage of the linesman call. Maybe some fan might have it. That was one of the craziest turn arounds I’ve ever seen. DAGGER
From the replay, when the shot is fired in, Raul is offside, he then picks up the ball and creates Robben’s goal, and therefore he must be interfering with play. What looks like an excellent refereeing decision is ruined by his inability to prevent the quick free kick and tell the Madrid players that the goal’s been disallowed. Rediculous refereeing but technically a valid goal…
No one forces the Real Madrid players to gather and celebrate a non-valid goal. Moreover its always been allowed to take a freekick fast when the opponent aint ready. To me it was 100% fair and 110% great judgement.
Sure Getafe to you it look valid. What would you say if it would be the other way around? That Franco still lives and that it is his decision? Please, go f.u.c.k. yourself and hopefully you will get to play to Albacete next season
i can understand how madrid would be upset. the restart is technically legal, but it kinda goes against the spirit of the game. i’ll take it as a barca fan though.
The goal was technically right. However, tomorrow, if your team suffers the same fate, wont you be crying that the goal was against the spirit of the game. You definitely would. As for Barca, please stop laughing at Real’s bad luck. Remember that you had suffered the same fate last year. And Real, you dont have to question the goal. Just go out there and win from now on. Its so much better to play than yap all nonsense.
A valid goal that wouldn’t have been valid if it wasn’t for the absurd incompetence of the ref in that situation - his inability to blow the whistle, halt play and do what he’s payed to do by the FEF/LFP and not what he’s payed to do by Barca, if unfortunately that’s the case.
Still, average effort from Madrid, especially seeing as this was in the Bernabeu. Put this one behind us and roll on next week.
The restart was valid because the ref did nothing at all. It’s like if player A slides in on player B from behind, player B gets seriously injured and then the ref does nothing at all and lets the play go on and a goal arises from the situation. In theory/according to the rulebook the goal isn’t valid, but technically it is…due to the ref’s incompetence.
Tired of walking around without a Footytube logo on your clothing? Well worry no more as we bring you a range of apparel to fill this overlooked niche in you wardrobe.
I found a great little site today that lets you do ‘pretend’ betting on the footy. The premise is simple, pick some games, predict the results, and see what you would have won (or lost) had you really gone to the bookie…
