  1. Chelsea was outclasses, congrats to Tottenham Hotspur, they fully deserved the win.

  2. Go spurs. beat those Chelsea Sonsofbitches.

  3. An absolutely horrible penalty call!…Spurs, you’re still **** and your place on the table proves it!!!

  4. Spurs won on luck.
    but hey they deserved it.
    Go Berbatov!

    but im still for chelsea.
    go Sheva #7

  5. Well…… Tottenham deserved to win. Chelsea could beat them 10 times!!! But they only start to move and show quality football until one stick spear in their ****! Why not to do it since the starting whistle?!!
    Come on Chelsea!!!

  6. clearly avram has to win the champions league,..

  7. :d Beating Arsenal in the Semi’s and now Chelsea in the final. What a great start by Ramos. Spurs deservedly the winners. Now the Uefa Cup

  8. bridge clearly handled the ball enough for the penalty. tottenham form and style have been outsanding lately. yes they’ve had a rough season but you cant deny them a great showing. you can only congratulate each team on a great game. it was only apparent that spurs fought harder and left it all on the field. bottomline is that spurs felt they had something to prove and they did.

  9. I bet chelsea will not win anything dis season at da moment they sack jose…

  10. Aha, nothing more to say about today than the better team won. FACT. I’m waiting for the generic arsenal banter “who cares its only the carling cup” but what the hey its one more trophy than u tossers have this season, plus all of our strikers still have both legs intact which is also a bonus. U on the other hand are on ur way to another season of winning nothing having spent 10 odd million on a striker with half a leg.

EDUARDO SHOULD HAVE MORE CALCIUM IN HIS DIET!

    yid yid yid army

  11. Oh yeah and somebody plz provide nemotol with a dictionary, horrible effort son.

  12. COYS! :d

  13. Hey, Martin Taylor, I’ll agree that the better team won but that last quip about Eduardo is really tasteless. Exactly how does demeaning Eduardo’s injury and pointing out that all of Tottenham’s strikers are fully fit prove anything? Congrats on the cup and try and handle the win a little more gracefully in future.

  14. Is there a moderator on this comment-board? If so can please someone delete “Martin Taylor | February 24th, 2008 @ 6:06 pm” ??

He is an embarrassment for all Spurs-fans!

Let’s celebrate our great victory today - and hope for a full recovery for Eduardo as soon as possible!

Thank you Tottenham Hotspur! Come on You Spuuuuurs! Yid Armeh!

  15. thats unnecessay martin taylor. yes, they are arsenal and we hate them but what Eduardo suffered deserves only sympathy.

  16. To be fair Eduardo went down a bit easy, and clearly was looking for a reaction from the referee and the fans, which is disgusting. I heard that surgery did not go well and all I can say is what goes around comes around as Eduardo has been trying to break legs for years.

If he ever recovers the ability to walk he should be banned from football for life.

Fair play to Martin Taylor for helping to remove this blister in the world of footy. If we follow his example we will be able to join together and kick the filth out of football.

    Yid Army

  17. THIS TEAM HAS GONE DOWN HILL SINCE JOSE LEFT, THE PLAYERS AND TEAM SPIRIT, THE PLAYS, THE TACTICS DE DEFENCE EVERITHING WAS BUILT AND WORKED ON VERY HARD BY JOSE, THIS IDIOT (AVRAM) HAS TAKEN THE CREDIT FOR IT… I SAID IT BEFORE AND I WILL SAY IT AGAIN, THERE WILL BE A EXODUS OF PLAYERS IN THE END OF THE SEASON…

how could you say such a thing about Eduardo u fwckin a$$hole? he plays well all the time you *****. Taylor deserved what he got and should be banned for such a harsh tackle. one of the worst i’ve ever seen!! so shut up about Eduardo.

    Maik Taylor, go f yourself.

    :)>-

  19. don’t respond to idiots like “Maik Taylor.” just hit the thumbs down button and move on.

  20. *** im a yid fan go spurs and what happend to eduardo is horrible your just a **** if u think that to be fair i hope that one day u break your ankle and onone helps u at all well i hope u get cancer **** get a life

  21. go spurs, now europe waits¡¡¡

  22. Think we should all listen to folks like danman who make sense. People who insult Eduardo shouldn’t be replied as it is an unbelievable show of stupidity…

  23. Think we should all listen to folks like danman who make sense. People who insult Eduardo shouldn’t be replied as it is an unbelievable show of stupidity…

    Agreed :-@

  24. chelsea fans talk to my crotch!

  25. That was not a hand ball and Chelsea were the better team for most of the game the only point where spurs were dominating was in the beginning of the game. And to even put the penalty in further doubt the spurs player also hit the ball with his hand so it should not have been a penalty1) because there was no time for him to react to get his hand out of the way. 2) the other player also handled the ball and by the way i am also a referee and i am shocked at the decision which was given by the lines man come on FA these sort of things should be pointed out and the referee should be able to ask someone with the camera for a second opinion Chelsea had that game for the taking.reply to my comment let me hear your thoughts.

  26. Best teams always win the cups. Spurs is also one of them. They had played many games to get the final so they deserved it. Sorry for Chelsea.

  27. congrats spurs
now leave the rest of the silverware up to united

  28. without the tactical brain of mourinho, Chelsea u can win ****!

  29. …Chelski may have had the Hoodoo Sign on us for many years, but when it really matters we come out on top!
Remember we also beat them in the ‘67 Cup Final?
    :d/:d/

  30. I’m an Arsenal fan and was really impressed with Spurs victory today, they were the better team and deserved their win. Having lost in the final last year i know the taste of defeat to Chelsea so fair play to Spurs, congrats. But i am absolutely disgusted by certain individuals that feel the need to bring Eduardo’s injury into the discussion. There were chants at the game making a mockery of his career threatening injury. Having had such an excellent performance and won the Carling Cup why is there the need to attack your rivals…surely the silverware is enough to celebrate? I appreciate that this is just relating to the minority of individuals and i know that Arsenal, Spurs and the rest of the footballing community alike wish Eduardo a speedy recovery, and have nothing but contempt for comments on the contrary. Well done Spurs, we’ll give you a better game next year :)

  31. All the England fuck*r …. Go and hooligans your mother and father … muttafarker .. ******

  32. nice to see drogba back in the squad and scorin :) but im really sad of the way chelsea played in the beginig of the first half and totenham was holding most of the game :S…chelsea won the past few games until terry and lamps joined again …they spoil the way we are supposed to play and make us play more defencive if u wactehd the match anyway i wish grant understands this imp issue and tries to put em on the bench for a match and he will realise we play better :-?:-? but good match tho
    well done spurs

  33. I am a Spurs supporter and have been for the past 50 years. i think it’s disgusting what the Taylor **** said above. Eduardo did not deserve such a horrid injury. I think you taylor are part of the Spurs hooligan gang who really need to grow up .you really are a pencil **** on this occasion!

  34. Questionable hand ball, ive seen that not called 1000 times - unintentional. Congrats to Ramos and the Spurs. Not trying to be smart but this will be the highlight of your season. Chelsea - time for the big fish lads. GO BLUES!

  35. Well… Chelsea can beat Spurs 1000 times for all i care, but they didn’t today hahaha you must have been talking about a different Chelsea team aye ? Mourinho’s ? hehe

btw, I was reading Avram Grant’s ranting on the net, very bitter fellow, he can’t see any positive out of the game. He was saying that the referee should question the linesman decision ?? since when ?? we might as well question every offside decision they make or even better, just don’t use any linesmen haha anyway, it was a handball for pete’s sake, Wayne nudged the ball in front of him using his arm, maybe it was reflex but it sure is handball. and don’t give that “we dominated the game and they have that one chance and strike” excuse, spurs stayed calm under pressure, took their time and strike where it hurts.. and credits to them for doing so. That was a funny goal by woodgate lol he was like :-?? goal !! :d

Btw, brace urself, as Drogba is bailing..and so is Roman, he’s bored :d

  36. To be fair Eduardo went down a bit easy, and clearly was looking for a reaction from the referee and the fans, which is disgusting. I heard that surgery did not go well and all I can say is what goes around comes around as Eduardo has been trying to break legs for years.

    Yid Army

You obviously never tasted victory b4, why? cuz your a totten**t fan beeeotch! making fun of Eduardo only makes you look like a ***, ignorant F. Arsenal 4 eva! 11th place show how far down da s*** hole you are haha

  37. Avram..what he really meant was Chelsea were not good enough to counter Spurs equaliser. Avram..Mourinho would never have let Chelsea down like you did.

  38. AVRAM IS IN EXPERIENCED :d

  39. Great game for spurs!

Obviously, on the pitch it shows which team are hungry for the cup.

People can say it’s by luck, but Tottenham outclassed Chelsea today especially in the final third (defence) of the pitch. Zokora did so well to nullify the chelsea midfield for most of the match. Chelsea’s tactic just didn’t work until Joe Cole was introduced whom i think finally produce a few scare for us. Lennon was disappointing mostly for last week and today but its nice to see him show what he is made of when we regain back the psychological edge after the penalty.

And it was a definite penalty. Mr Bridge touched the ball with his hands not once, but twice. Even the commentators and reports said that it was a result of panic defending by bridge under pressure from huddlestone. Btw, Drogba seems to make the most of the fouls against him hehehee and i always seem to forget that Anelka was actually playing as well..

we must give credit to cup specialist Ramos for getting the team to finally win something for a while in just a short period of time since his takeover. It has also ensure us qualification to Europe for next season! and hopefully that would put less pressure on the team in the league.

Let’s hope that this is the first step into bigger things! Audere est Facere!

    Agreed.
Avram is Awful. He has no experience in coaching in the Top eauropean leagues never mind English League. The first priority he said was to bring in beautfiful football, at the moment, football is far worst, and at least mournho took advantage of lesser attractive football. Avram, you may have got few winning streak going on, but to me most matches were very unconvincing 1-0 win, and most win was edged by players strong mentality and committment to the club football. So please leave, before you even think that you are good enough to coach chelsea. The past 3,4 months will be ur achievement of life and you should appreciate it.

  41. It is indeed a disgrace what “taylor” said above about Eduardo - I am a spurs fan and, you sir, are a disgrace to your team.

I am sure that all but the small minded minority of spurs fans wish Eduardo a full recovery.

Anyway, fantastic result yesterday. Come on you spurs - Hopefully we can do the same in the UEFA Cup…….

  42. Well…… Tottenham deserved to win. Chelsea could beat them 10 times!!! But they only start to move and show quality football until one stick spear in their ****! Why not to do it since the starting whistle?!!
    Come on Chelsea!!!

I cant believe some of the chelsea fans. I AM A LIVERPOOL FAN chelsea did not play badly they played like normal boring chelsea. tottenham outplayed chelsea in every part of the pitch just admit it chelsea fans!¬

  43. Congrats to Tottenham Hotspur!

  44. Spurs fans, this is just the beginning! compare the defensive display of tottenham yesterday to the start of the premier league, my god spurs have spent their money well in january.
all of the crises spurs had before Ramos took over (No good left back, no left foot on the pitch to cross a decent ball from the left or take a set piece, no-one decently playing the holding midfield role, cbs falling over or teeing it up for the opposition strikers *cough*Kaboul*cough* , AND ROBINSON chucking the ball into his own net/getting beaten from 40 yards every match)
all problems have been answered… juande is god!
I was disappointed to see Chelsea use their long ball, shot from 30 yards or set piece tactics but to be fair they didn’t look that comfortable as a team, why not play joe and ashley cole you’re just asking to get raped on the wing by steed, lennon, keane or berba or jenas

COYYYSSS!! UEFA CUP HERE WE COME

You are an embarrassment to Spurs fans everywhere. It makes me ashamed to be a spurs fan when people like you can make fun of Eduardo right now…how is it funny? You are a moron

  46. I am an avid spurs fan and firstly I have to say that the team, the manager, the coaches and fans were superb. Everything about the team yesterday was fantastic, no one can complain the result didn’t reflect the game as I feel Spurs should of had another 2 or 3. But as for Eduardo…. hummm. We all have a sick joke and laugh about the rivals players being injured, but when it comes down to it… its just a laugh. No one should really mean what they say about a horrific injury like Eduardo suffered. I am sure the rest of you true football fans (even the spurs ones) will join me in wishing Eduardo a healthy and speedy recovery and lets hope him being out causes some problems for Arsenal (sorry but yet again I am a true fan and all Arsenal fans would say the same if it was Berb and Spurs).
Rock on UEFA Cup we can win it and well done to everyone involved in the Tottenham setup. You’ve done us proud and showed what you can do, now build on it and don’t let us or yourselves down

  47. come on guys uve gotta have a sense of humour.

yesterday the chelsea back line was as fragile as eduardo’s ankles

  48. come on guys uve gotta have a sense of humour.

yesterday the chelsea back line was as fragile as eduardo’s ankles

you plonker. A mans career and future are in ruins. Someones suffering terribly right now and u think its funny. Yesterday I was so proud to see our boys win at wembley. You on the other hand need to think before you write, cos u embarass and shame spurs fans. And u encourage idiots like MAIK TAYLOR. who well.. what a plonker

  49. To be fair Eduardo went down a bit easy, and clearly was looking for a reaction from the referee and the fans, which is disgusting. I heard that surgery did not go well and all I can say is what goes around comes around as Eduardo has been trying to break legs for years.

    Yid Army

you ignorant little boy. Im spurs through and through. You are just pure prat

  50. Congrats chelsea, you’ve got drogba back in the team, spending most of time on the deck putting his questionable acting skills to use, like the free kick, dying one minute, then running halfway across the pitch celebrating. Anyway just like follow that with ah well… it was all for nothing coz the mighty spurs owned the game, chelsea couldnt handle us and woodgate deserved man of the match, aside from a few moments, he marked drogba out of the game. COYS give us all that winning sensation in uefa as well.

PS: anyone who has pathetic comments to say about eduardo doesnt deserve to call themselves a football fan, and even moreso a human being.

  51. well, no offence to joe cole but he was seeingdreamland close up when he said they were gonna win the quadruple xD gratz to spurs for the win :)

On another note, even tho i am a united fan and i’d like nothing more than to see arsenal sink beneath us, i really wish all d best for eduardo, not just coz he’s a great footballing prospect but it’s a pity for the young lad who may never play football as well as he used to …. so quit it about “spending millions on half a leg” coz he’s still a great player :)

    UTD 4EVERxD

  52. No offence to Joe Cole but he was really seeing Dreamland close up when he said that chelsea will win the quadruple. Gratz to spurs for win :)

On the other hand, shame on those who are commenting on eduardo’s injury as if it was funny, even tho i’m a united fan and love arsenal losing, i still like their football and it’s a real blow to the young lad as well as his career (he had a long one b4 him, hope it’s still intact) :/

UTD 4EVER:) and gws eduardo xD

  53. spurs 4 the uefa cup, great game, deserved 2 win,p.s bridge handled the ball TWICE …….:-?

  54. UEFA Cup final Tottenham vs. Bayern and the latter unfortunately will win.
    Recover soon Eduaro!

  55. i must say ramos is a fantastic manager. he adjusted his formations to fit the situation perfectly. chelski was almost never the better team and spurs seemed to want it more.

i’m starting to like this spurs team; first they embarass the gooners in the cup 5-1, then they beat the rent boys. well done

  56. grats Tottenham. you are my second team after arsenal. Love the flavor that berbatov brings to the game, definitely on the short list of the best strikers in the world.

  57. spurs defeated their goliath!!! way to go spurs!:d/:d/

  58. “spurs defeated their goliath” ???
Chelsea was Goliath with Mourinho, now it`s a puppy
