Ronaldo makes our life easier, doesn’t he?
Just imagine ManUtd without Ronaldo.
Not saying they would not manage to win titles because we always managed to survive without our great players: Keane, Beckham, Van Nistelrooy etc..
But no one can deny that we can find life harder without him.
Credit to Ryan Giggs for doing his outmost, altough he DID NOT dive and it WAS a clear penalty.
Everton deserved something more from this match but surely we weren’t happy with a point only, so our battle till the last second rewarded us.

****ing pieces of ****
man united always get goals from selfish, overpaid, ******* aka ronaldo
he hogs the ball, doesnt play like a team, only plays for himself, hes a ****ing DIVER
and how lucky can man united get?! getting a ****in penalty in the 89th minute!! thats their only way of winning!! they never earn their goals…all of their other goals are just slammed into the box, and someone taps it in from 6 yards out…how the **** is that skill?!?!?!
look at arsenal, playing as a team, earning their goals, beautiful team play, brilliant passing, and look where they are…TOP OF THE TABLE….look at the differences in these 2 teams rosters….arsenal: young, evenly paid, unselfish, no superstars needed….man united: overpaid, selfish, plenty of superstars…and look, NOT EVEN at the top of the table
CR7 'World Player of the Year' | December 23rd, 2007 @ 4:59 pm
To tiger7rb and all Man Utd haters.
Obviously you were taking a shi* during Ronaldo’s first goal, because it was clearly 18+ yards out. And obviously your boyfriend distracted you during the penalty, because it was, without a doubt, a foul worthy of a pk. I would just like all Arsenal fans to stop bickering, wake up, and realize that the title is inevitably going to be Manchester United’s. Ronaldo is paid what he is paid because he consistently delivers a performance worthy of his pay. Why he didnt get World Player of the Year, is beyond me. The only conclusion I can draw from it, is that Kaka won purely because he is liked by all, unlike Ronaldo, who is hated by many. The sad reality is that the award should be presented to the Player who performs the best within the respective year, not the player who has the most friends. Think about it. Manchester will take down CL and the Prem this season.
Moe | December 23rd, 2007 @ 5:15 pm
I agree with tiger7rb to some extent. Man-u is a 1-man or 2-men show at most. I don’t enjoy watching them playing. As tiger7rb said, look at arsenal, playing as a team, earning their goals, beautiful team play, brilliant passing…This does not mean that Arsenal is going to win the league…but they really have a big potential to do so if they keep up the good work..
Roxii | December 23rd, 2007 @ 5:20 pm
Oh, Tiger7rb
Do you watch cartoon football hun ?
Maybe I should inform you that Giggs was the one that was fouled in the box and NOT Ronaldo so there was no reason why you should call Ronaldo a diver for today’s performance and not for the others neighter. Does he always play for himself? hmm.. Maybe you should look at his assists and if you think that he does not assist enough goals than that it because he is capable of scoring his own goals rather than creating ones.
And for your information the penalty was rewarded in the 87th minute and not in the 89th. Check your info well hun ;)
And whats wrong with having superstars? Superstars are the ones that can win a match and we have got lots of them: Giggs, Tevez, Anderson, Ronaldo, Rooney, Scholes and lots more.. And guess what? We are proud of them.
And not only Arsenal have got young players. So do us. I bet Anderson, Nani, Tevez, Rooney etc should all be called young players. And a young player like Anderson can win the battle against Fabregas ’cause that what he did in the previous match against you fools.
Yeah, you’re top of the table but not for so long. You’re gonna earn nothing with all those Africans playing for you, ’cause always remember that you have got 6 weeks without them in January.. The race is long .. So watch out hun .. We’re coming back to haunt ya !
ldrom | December 23rd, 2007 @ 5:40 pm
o0 yea n 1 more thing tiger, United creats most of their superstars
ldrom | December 23rd, 2007 @ 5:44 pm
Roxii,
But an African (from Angola) is coming to Man utd in January. I thought Sir Alex Ferguson wanted to promote English talent? Ironically, his main stars (Ronaldo, Tevez, Nani, Giggs, Van der Saar) are not English so why blame the brilliant Frenchman for England’s failures?
Don’t blame Arsenal and the highly skilled Africans buddy. Arsenal are the best. Simple. Arsene Wenger doesn’t have to spend so much money on highly overrated English super stars, but just works at developing players.

tiger7rb- lol.
man united always get goals from selfish, overpaid, [Ronaldo] – is there a prblem with gettin goals from our player? overpaid? maybe. but thats just an excuse cause you dont like him cause your a biased fool. Selfish? hes got a good # of assists in case you havent noticed. and hes always put the team first, regardless of what idiots like you say about him. try taking your head out of your @$$ and listening.
he hogs the ball, doesnt play like a team, only plays for himself, hes a ****ing DIVER- ball hog? well, there is tactical advantage to holding the ball. it draws defenders. but dont worry about that, its beyond your intelligence. play like a team? he does play for the team, again, take your head out of your @$$ and listen. Diver? hes dived maybe 1-2 times this year. vs derby. and maybe 1 vs liverpool. the others were garbage calls and the only people who didnt think so were biased fools like you. and just so ya know, your precious fabregas dives more than ronaldo, and so does gerrard.
and how lucky can man united get?! getting a ****in penalty in the 89th minute!! -sounds like the lucky goals that arsenal have got. one lucky deflection and another goalmouth scramble vs united. cech error vs chelsea. lets undo United’s lucky goal as well as arsenal’s lucky goals. Arsenal drops 1 more v United, and 2 vs chelsea. united gains 2 points vs arsenal, drops 2 vs everton. the new table would show United leading by 2 points.
thats their only way of winning!! they never earn their goals…all of their other goals are just slammed into the box, and someone taps it in from 6 yards out…how the **** is that skill?!?!?- hahahaha! go watch videos of all the goals united have scored this season.
look at arsenal, playing as a team, earning their goals, beautiful team play, brilliant passing, and look where they are…
-beautiful team play on both goals v united. brilliant team play for the chelsea goal. brilliant display vs boro. they earned those all right.
TOP OF THE TABLE…-by 1 point. half way into the season. not like that counts for much.
.look at the differences in these 2 teams rosters….arsenal: young, evenly paid, unselfish, no superstars needed- fabregas. van persie. sounds like few stars. adebayor, hleb… and lehmann is sooo unselfish it hurts. as for young: heres a stat. excluding keepers, who were late 30’s for both, the average ages for players on each team during United vs arsenal was approx 24:23. The average was about a year apart. United are just as young as arsenal.
….man united: overpaid, selfish, plenty of superstars…and look, NOT EVEN at the top of the table- overpaid? thats cause we have a lot of english players, who are rediculously expensive. selfish? lol. rooney and tevez and evra, anderson, scholes, giggs, ferdinand, vidic… so unselfish. not at the top of the table… by 1 point. and we are doing better in the CL fyi. lets see if arsenal can get past milan.
what was the point of your post? to rant about United cause your mad they won by complaining about factually incorrect things while simultaneously presenting an irrefutable arguement that your are a total idiot? that sums it up
tiger7rb | December 23rd, 2007 @ 6:04 pm
u fools
i mean come the **** on!
ok ronaldo had a “goal streak” that he wanted to continue…AGAINST DERBY
WHO THE **** NEEDS TO DIVE FOR A PENALTY IN THE LAST 10 MINUTES OF A GAME AGAINST DERBY?!?!?
HOW ****ING LAME IS THAT. fcuking ****
thats how selfish ronaldo is, he dives for his “penalty” against derby just to keep his goal streak alive…PATHETIC!!!
u man united fans are just jealous and angry that u ****s arent at the top of the table

moe- dont forget about Rooney, Ferdinand, Brown, Scholes, Carrick, Foster, as well as many youngsters in United’s ranks.
Giggs is british. imo, thats good.
and im not blaming wenger for englands failures. im saying hes not making any english players. arent there only like 2 on arsenal. walcott and someone else? and neither are starters.
theres nothing wrong with foreigners, just there should be SOME british in there.
as for arsenal being the best: thats an opinion.
its a different strategy for youth: arsenal gets them cheaper and earlier, but in bulk. United waits, picks a select few that appear best at a later age, and pays more. arsenal get many good players and a few great ones. United get as many great players, with a higher buy:star ratio. its 2 different systems that are EQUALLY effective at producing young talent for United.
You talk about your amazing youngsters, but you dont give credit to United’s youth. Why? cause they are on the first team, and they are so well known they arent necessarily thought of as youth. Ex: ronaldo, rooney, tevez, anderson, nani… these are all young players. 23 and under. these players are the same age and just as good as arsenal’s. they are so good, that you forget that nromal playes of their age are just breaking into the 1st team. united’s youth have played 1st team ball for years.
the reason arsenal’s reserves are good is because they buy bulk. United mostly make due with local players. they have a few youngsters from other places, but 75% are british. its evidence of the different strategies.
–and to your first post: united arent a 2 man team many players on united are matchwinners. they are just overshadowed because rooney and ronaldo are SO good. even without them, United are still deadly and filled with many matchwinning players. Giggs, Nani, tevez, Scholes, Saha…
You could say arsenal are essentially a 2-3 man team too.
fabregas, hleb, and van persie were gone and they dropped 5 points in a hurry.
but imo, neither are 2-3 man teams. but if you say one is then the other is too. otherwise your being biased.

Oh man tiger…are you going to try and argue that Toure and Gallas are a better defensive combination that Ferdinand and Vidic? Dont even touch the subject…and Id also like to add, outside of the fact that Im a huge Ronaldo fan, Manchester United is far from a one or two man team. Maybe you’re not familiar with Carlos Tevez, Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic, Paul Scholes, Anderson, Nani, Van der Sar, and Patrice Evra (who in my opinion is Manchester United’s savior thus far this season). Dont make ignorant comments about a subject that you know nothing about. Oh and I think cesc is a ****.

Bottom line, Arsenal Kicks As* (AKA), regardless if we win the league or not. Arsenal has a style that no other team has….they are unique and different. hmm…
i love how people like tiger blatently ignore facts to feel good about themselves:
Fact: Arsenal are winning, by 1 point, halfway into the season.
Arsenal Fan Interpretation-Arsenal have won the league by miles.
Fact: Arsenal have adopted a policy of buying young foreign talents in bulk and gambling to get a few stars. United wait a little longer and buy with hgher success rate for higher prices.
AFI: Arsene Wenger is God, he can find every great young player in the world and buy them cheap. Also, Arsenal have th best academy in the world.
Fact: Arsenal have a good defense, 15 goals conceded (ESPN). United have the best defense, 9 goals conceded (ESPN)
AFI: Arsenal have the greatest defense in the world.
–
I don’t see how you can rate Eduardo and Sagna above Hargo, Tevez, Anderson, and Nani.
Hargreaves has been fantastic defensively, contributing enormously to shutting down crucika players like cesc and gerrard.
Tevez is a good goalscoring threat, 7 goals so far, and has been influential in creating many goals. He has been half of one of the best and most exciting strike partnerships in the modern game. All this despite being tagged as ‘too similar’ to play with Rooney.
Anderson has been a great playmaking force. Comparable in potential to Arsenal’s Fabregas. A year younger, one of few traits that the spaniard has that Anderson doesnt is goalscoring prowess, which Fabregas didn’t have till this year. Anderson has deputized surprisingly successfully for talisman Paul Scholes, especially considering he just moved into a new country and started learning the language less than 6 months ago. At 19, hes already a leader on the pitch, vocally giving orders and dictating play.
Nani, who in a recent poll was least favored of the new signings, has 2 competitve goals. Both were wonderstrikes from amazing distance. He also has 6 assists. Impressive stats for any 20 year old. But that a 20 year old with those stats is the least impressive signing is what really is impressive.
–
and tiger, the fact that you are dismissing the details of Arsenal’s ‘victory’ shows that you have little confidence in them to succeed.

I love how Aresenal fans are getting that upset about man utd winning. As u keep pointing out, ur top of the league by a by a mile (1 Point =)) ) so it shudnt matter wot utd do, so long as u keep winning u’ll win teh league, but ur reaction 2 a well deserved (and it was deserved, if all a team is goin to do is defend then they dont derserve anything) win for utd, just shows how little confidence u Arsenal supporters have in ur team carrying on any sort of winning form. Arsenal didnt deserve 2 win yesterday, any1 who watched the game knows that, so wen u say things like ‘lucky’ look at urselfs first.
And as for being a 1 man team, i actually laughed out loud wen i read that. If thats the case, Ronaldo must be a great center back, considering we have teh best defense in teh EPL, and he had a quiet game against Liverpool, and yet we still won in there own back yard, strange that considering we rely on him so much :-?
Though to wrap it up, Arsenal are not strong enough to win the league. When Arsenal got a draw outta Utd at the Emirates they celebrated liek they had just won, how can any side that wants 2 be the best be happy with a home draw against a title rival? I’ll answer that, they shudnt be, and yet they were, that just says to me they dont think they gd enough, and even a point against utd is an achievement to them :)>-

HAHA oh this is funny stuff.. Arsenal fan claiming that their defence is better than man utds? come one buddy, even stats dont lie. MU have conceded less goals than any other team in the EPL. ronaldo would not be the start he is 2day if united had not developed him either. How many british players does man utd have too? last time i checked the first team squad had over 15 players from the UK. and Arsenal? 5 at most? pffft and i thini none of thos even play regular first team anyway. I think most man utd fans would agree with me that we are quietly confident we will take out the EPL and also do some damage in the FA and CL too. Why are there Arenal fans trying to claim a one point lead over christmas so badly? Its almost as bad as claiming top position after game1 with a lead on goal difference after beating derby 3-0 while another team only won their match 2-0.. Pathetic!!!

Ronaldo should not be Fifa World Player of the Year, so stop whining you conceited *******. I’m not defending Kaka, but I believe a World Player should be one with skill and mentality, and I don’t think Ronaldo shows that when he flies 5 yards by people almost literally blowing at him with their mouths.
Arsenal IS a better team, get over it. Manchester United is dependent on few key players, such as Ronaldo and Rooney, while the Young Gunners have proven a mighty team even with the loss of Thierry Henry, a brilliant striker.
And yes it is true that Man U gets a lot of their goals from little skirmishes in the penalty area which end up in unimpressive shots in the net..seriously.
Though the worst thing about Manchester United is the ignorant, conceited, and absolutely moronic and pompous fans that back MU. **** you all; you simply ruin soccer matches with your “Glory Glory” attitude, and go **** yourselves with that piece of rotten ****, Alex Ferguson.

haha, so what?
We are not afraid of anyone, we know how to handle them well. That’s why we’re the English Champions ’cause we handled everyone well. Yeah, even Arsenal even tough we lost against you, you weren’t able to beat the others you chickens and you were only able to finish in the 4th place.
Yep, Milan are currently in the 12th place of their league. But guess what? You’re going to play against them in the Champions League, and that is a big difference because ac you can see they ended up 1st in their table and they give more importancy to that league than the Serie A.
We’re gonna have fun with that, just don’t worry. The harder the opponent, the more I enjoy it, believe me.
Remember Roma? They were second last season in their league then we beat them with 7 goals. Everyone said that is a harder opponent to play against, but for us no one is hard. It has just to be our day.
Talking about luck, you were lucky enough last Saturday to have managed a win when you didn’t even deserved that. For Tottenham not to score that penalty, it was real luck for you.
I don’t mind teams being lucky as long as there isn’t a maroon like you blabing out about luck.

Roxii is right. Last year when we went out against AC a deciding factor in that was the weekend game b4 we had 2 field our strongest side in a premire league game and had no chance 2 rest players. Where as AC rested no less than 9 players that started against Man Utd cause there league hopes were gone and Europe was there only chance of silverware, so they were fresh.
Not unlike this year, AC dont stand a chance in Seria a so they will rest players b4 teh Arsenal game and be fit and fresh 4 em, where as Arsenal (assuming they havent dropped off in teh EPL by losing half there squad in the African nations cup) will be competing in the league so wont have teh opportunity 2 rest anyone.
But lets not forget, when Arsenal have rested players they got bounced in Europe. So much 4 them not being a 1 man team, can any1 say Fabregas?

I don’t understand people who name all of Man Us starters and say “omg look at these stars”. To be honest the stars at Man U are Rooney, Ronaldo, and Tevez. That is it. If everyone was a star then the term would lost it’s meaning. They were all stars of past teams, but when put on Man Us roster they are not of star quality.
Arsenal, as well, does not have a lot of stars either. I honestly don’t see any stars outside of maybe toure or gallas. Many players on their team are having a great year, but that is what it is: a great year. Fabregas could be the squad star in a few years time, same with Adebeyor and Van Persie.
cory | December 24th, 2007 @ 3:36 am
ussoccer- how are vidic, scholes, and giggs overrated. giggs and scholes are 2 of the most underrated players in the world, and have been for a long time. Vidic is top class, and you would be hard pressed to find 2 CB in the world better.
manutd since 1985- youre wrong about that one. arsenal have lost 2 this season. 1 in CL, 1 in EPL.
LOL- “OMG pls ppl manu r not like the best team and u must worship them.but i hav to agree that ronaldo is good.u see they r lucky that they r lucky and hav players who noe how to act”
*** does that mean? and there are other lucky teams. arsenal were lucky on both goals v United. also, they were lucky vs chelsea. but i dont think thats a big deal. luck is part of the game. as for being ‘lucky’ i read a quote “luck is when preparation meets opportunity” maybe United are just better prepared.
mackler- tigers points are so sporadic. they dont follow any sort of a logical chain of thought. try to cut the rascism. it was funny, but still…
mupo- talk about fans ruining the game… its not like youre being hypocritical. ronaldo has to deal with a lot of garbage defending, and there are a lot of unnoticed fouls on him. As for Henry, United have deat without Ruud. But when you lost 3 players, Persie, Helb, Cesc… 5 points were dropped in a hurry. thats seems pretty dependant to me.
as for the “ignorant, conceited, and absolutely moronic and pompous fans:”
what do you call yourself and tiger?
ignorant- “toure and gallas are the best central defender combo in the league….dont deny it….its trure” stat: arsenal have conceded 15, United 9.
conceited-”arsenal have the best young team in the league, best carling cup squad in the league (average age of 20) and making it to the final”
moronic- hard to prove in quotes. just go read all of tigers posts, theyre good enough.
pompous- how many times have seen ‘Wenger is God’ written? too many. thats pretty pompous.
there are stupid fans on all sides, and to say its all united just shows that you are retarded.
for what you said about united’s goals: “And yes it is true that Man U gets a lot of their goals from little skirmishes in the penalty area which end up in unimpressive shots in the net..seriously”
go watch arsenal vs united. what do you call both of arsenal’s goals…
—
tiger: arsenal play milan, who are cup specialists. they just won the world club championships too. they are the reaning euro champs. have fun with that.
—
gunners suck- i know. thats whta i was thinking. i said something about there were no arsenal fans talking last year, and now theyre everywhere. i said somethign about it once on their board, and they started to get all mad. its true.
Mike B | December 24th, 2007 @ 3:39 am
as much as i like reading the hate between arsenal and man u fans, i think a little bit of independent thought would be nice. arsenal is certainly playing the best team football of anyone this year, but these criticisms of ronaldo from the arsenal fans are ridiculous. he is easily the finest player in the premiership. he holds the ball – so what? he hits the turf – so what? he is highly paid – so what? his performances and man u’s results speak for themselves. instead of ripping on ronaldo, why not brag about your own stars, because they are having a great season. bad-mouthing ronaldo just makes you look petty. oh, and for the man u fans, did you not see kaka run wild over everyone (including man u) in last season’s champions league (which was won in 2007, so it counts toward this years awards).

Nah, not only Rooney, Ronaldo and Tevez are United’s superstars. Is it because they are the ones who regularly score? It’s not fair on the others because it has to be teamwork to win a match and not individuals.
Where’s Giggsy, Vida, Ferdinand, Anderson ..?? Aren’t those superstars too ? Just because they don’t score often it doesn’t mean they’re not superstars. Look at Ferdinand and Vidic: 2 Great defenders and they form an awesome partnership ! Anderson.. Such a young lad with an awesome potential to become one of the best! Giggs and Scholesyy :: The Living Legends that always were the experienced ones who always teached the young ones what success really is.
A Superstar is some one who has great popular appeal, is a major attraction but also has the ability to perform skillfully and there is no doubt that the ones I mentioned all falls under that criteria.
Superstars don’t always be the world best, but are ones of the best surely.
ManUtd had so much superstars in the past:
Cantona, Beckham, Van Nistelrooy, Best, Solskjaer Edwards.
They still have:
Rooney, Giggs, Scholes, Tevez, Hargreaves Ronaldo…
And there are ones to come:
Nani, Anderson………….
And lots more !

It’s fair to say that ManUtd produced more star players than Arsenal.Beckham,Keane,Scholes,Neville etc.
Arsenal produced a sub in henry for barca.hmmm, not bad.
Tiger’s just jealous that Ronaldo scored 2 goals against them few seasons ago and one against them this season.
Man U lost against Milan last season, and Arsenal?Against PSV?tiger, good luck to you against the likes of Maldini,Kaka,Nesta,Inzaghi,Pirlo and Seedorf.

If there is one that should be jelous for us than it should be you because you’re club can never be entitled with so much titles as we have under our name ‘Manchester United’.
You lots are already making the title yours when there is still half of the league more to go on. Oh, and for God’s sake you’re only 1 point above us.
So let me do like yooh, NO Adebayor will not out score everybody in the league.
According to the stats, Ronnie is the topscorer leading with 1 goal above the others.
You made the titles yours with being 1 points above and I’m making Ronnie as the topscorer with 1 goal above the others.

Ok guys, relax. Let me give you my 51 cents. I live in Canada but wait…relax….I used to live in London for blimey…i think 20 years and supported West Ham. My brothers supported Leeds and Man United so you can imagine the fights we had…haha….back in tha day. Anyways, my point is very simple. I am Portuguese so of course I will support any team where there is a Portuguese player….let me rephrase that….I will follow them. I know a great deal about Cristiano Ronaldo since he was 15 years old. Guess what? I was born in Madeira too. Obviously, I’m proud and I would never imagined it especially coming from a peanut island, nevermind country. Anyways, my point is that I have followed him and I always knew his potential. Every young player has potential but there are one or two that grab your eye. Ronaldo was one and Anderson is the next, in a different role. Nani, I am not losing faith because I know what he has but he needs more games. Plain and simple. My point again, Ronaldo is not Man United. Man united is a team. They were always a strong team no matter what they always needed that spark. They always had that spark, for the most part. My point is, Man United would not be able to win anything without Ronaldo. It’s that simple. He is scoring most of the goals and he is not even the striker. On the matter of FIFA player of the year. I have no problem with Kaka winning it but Ronaldo should have been 2nd no question. Messi is good, no question but he is no Maradona at the same age. I say that because of that goal he scored. Great goal but takes more than that to claim yourself as the world’s number 2. Ronaldo is not ready quite yet and I’m happy so because next year he will win the FIFA Player of the Year, no question unless of course all the other coaches are watching netball. Thank you. Peace.
Carlos | December 24th, 2007 @ 9:38 pm
and yes i know Anderson is Brazillian but I knew his potential at FC Porto and he will be a star at Man United without question. I think he already showed some of that poetential. Man United have what it takes to win titles but the question is can they keep their head …and injury free as much as possible?

that was a really dumb foul for the pk. the handball earlier was bad too. those are the type of things you see in youth leagues.

guys , you have to understand something and yes i will go to sleep….haha….but seriously, there are so…soooo many great players in the world…most of them are in europe and a good portion in the epl thank god….talking about great players and joining new teams….yes they are great and to my mind and yours it would be nice if they could just catch a plane and all of a sudden start playing for their new team where they left off….it doesn’t happen like that…yes maybe in history for one or 2 players but it involves alot of stuff outside the ground that determines how quickly a new starwill settle….ronaldo is a good example….i think enough press on that and thierry is another good example….cantona for sure and some more…..the list is there but you get my point…we all slag foreign players if they don’t make it but the truth is….some are mistakes…..some need time….some just never adjust….some are homesick….some don’t get on with their team mates…some don’t like the culture or country and so….i mean think about it….you are the best player or you think you are in the world but if you don’t like the country or your team mates or the style or whatever are you going to make it big?….only if your balls are bigger than big ben….ronaldo’s, apparently is…and so was thierry and catanos and the rest who deserve to be on that list…..add to the list please…..
Gary | December 25th, 2007 @ 3:35 am
i dun think there’s anything wrong with him as well, but he’s wasting his time in barca.

If you make your mind up and be determined than you get used to the new country, culture, team mated and everything. Let’s say it that they majority of them all settle up. Sometimes not as quickly as we like. For example let’s mention Vidic and Evra.. They arrived in Manchester in Jan ‘06 but it wasn’t until October/November ‘07 that they were showing their best. At first many said what a waiste of money we spent on them, but now they gave an answer to all those critics. Last time I was reading about Evra… He said that at this time of year in Mondaco, they used to have a break. In England we all know how different it is. But he had to adjust himself into this new country.
Then you have those who get used to everything and settle very quickly like Anderson. He didn’t have a proper pre season, hadn’t much time to learn the language, he left his family in Brazil. But he was determined and he is where he is now. Ronaldo helped him to settle quickly, true and maybe not every new player finds true friends [ team mated ] to help them settle, but you can do it all by yourself, again, if you are determined.
Luckily, there are many players out there that settle very quickly because to become a great footballer you have to be determined and determination is the success to everything. You have to believe in yourself, that’s the first, biggest step any footballer can make, then everything will come on its own.
[[ I mention mainly United players ’cause I’m more informed on them and I don’t want to talk about someone whom I’m not informed well, but there are more players who got used to the English system very well like Torres

Just my opinion, but the shot for Ronaldo for the first goal seems to touch the tip of the toe on that defender; the best replay for it is the last replay. Seems to be heading further right for a split second.
Anyone agree? :)
Oh, I am a Manchester United fan btw…
Gus | December 25th, 2007 @ 10:27 pm
the goal keeper would do the exact same team austiun…
watch the ball fly by him..with or without the touch
cory | December 26th, 2007 @ 2:00 pm
austin
it may have. but regardless, it would have had more pace if it hadnt touched him. and the deflection was miniscule. it still woulda gone in.
mackler | December 26th, 2007 @ 5:45 pm

We’re only 1 point ahead of you. But enough to boast with. You’re handling the ‘desirable’ title to us – We are where we belong now !
Just don’t tell me that we also ended up in a draw against them – But only, tell me that we’re ahead of you at this time in season!
Enjoy hun ;)

Gary | December 26th, 2007 @ 10:20 pm
Tiger have already went back to where he belongs to,the jungle.haha.
But we,ManUtd fans don’t under estimate Arsenal’s abilities. We just have to keep on winning starting with the next game against a strong West Ham side.
