liverpool were awesome last night any way you look at it. you don’t just get the best ever champions league result for no reason. it amuses me to see the negative remarks by a few people who are clearly jealous of liverpool’s beautiful style.
all we need to do is get rid of those ‘off days’ which have plagued us for years and cost us leagues. it’s hard to understand with the current strength of our bench.
so glad for peter crouch as well – that man must stay and get in on the goals!

babel’s a great player, has done a lot of good things when he played for Ajax. Only 21 but already he is one of the key players in the Dutch squad. With off course v. Persie, Kuyt, Sneijder, van der Sar,Robben, van der Vaart, and van Nistelrooij.
Great speed, strength and technique. I don’t know if you know but his secret is called the ‘heupschot’ in dutch. Really suprising instant shot from under his waist. Very difficult to see for a keeper. Could someone please upload a video of him.:)>-

Compare Champions League with Premier League. Champions League is made up of TOP 4 clubs from each league to go against each other. Premier League is a competition against each others in England. Champions League is the competition across Europe and Premier League is a competition within England. Liverpool may not be the Champion club of England. But 1 thing for sure is that it is one of the champion clubs in Europe. The team with most Champions League Cup.

I think everybody misses a point here; the interesting point is not that a team has lost to another in a horrifying ‘8-0′ score but that the very same team who score eight goals indeed had lost to the other very same team just thirteen days ago… How come? In total Liverpool scored nine goals but Besiktas only two goals; however, both teams made three points in their home games against each other!
