Man City 1 – 0 Sunderland

Manchester City moved to third in the premiership title race this evening following a 1 – 0 win over Sunderland. The goal came in the 67th minute thanks to a stunning volley from Stephen Ireland. This win cements Man City’s impressive 100% Premier League home record.
Sunderland Manager, Roy Keane had this to say about the game: “We didn’t deserve anything because I don’t feel we did enough to get anything out of the game. I don’t think their goalkeeper had too many saves to make did he? They produced that one bit of quality and they scored.”Meanwhile Sven was impressed with Ireland’s performance:
“Superman – super goal. He (Stephen Ireland) has been training very well, I am just a little surprised it has taken him a bit of time to play better.”

Just a heads up, there is a typo. Where it says “Man City manager, Roy Keane” it should read “Sunderland manager, Roy Keane.” :d/

Sven has got this team playin really good. man city with any other manager would be a mediocre team, but Sven has turned them around very nicely.
