There are exactly 4 matchdays left in the UEFA Euro 2008 Qualifiers. Two will be played on October, and another two for November. After that, the top two countries with the most points in their respective groups will move on to play in the Final Round of UEFA Euro 2008 in Austria and Switzerland, who are sharing their stadium resources for the big UEFA Euro 2008 Finals tournament on June 2008.But first, a quick review of the fixtures for Octoer 13.For Group A of the Euro 2008 Qualifiers, we have Armenia vs. Serbia, Poland vs. Kazakhstan, Belgium vs. Finland and Azerbaijan vs. Portugal.

Georgia has 7, and the Faroe Islands have yet to score a single point.
In the upcoming qualifiers for Group B of the UEFA Euro 2008 for October 13, we will have matches between Scotland vs. Ukraine, Faroe Islands vs. France and Italy vs. Georgia. 4 days after on October 17, it’ll be Ukraine vs. Faroe Islands, France vs. Lithuania and Georgia vs. Scotland.

Italian Serie A league leaders Inter Milan improved their points standing with a 2-1 away win against Napoli at the Giuseppe Meazza.On the 20th minute, Inter Milan were able to break through when Inter’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic cuts through the Napoli defense by the face of the box and plays through the ball to Inter Milan forward Julio Cruz, who sidefoots the ball past Napoli keeper Gennaro Iezzo.On the 36th minute, Inter Milan’s Argentinian striker Julio Cruz adds another goal to his tally as he beats the offside trap and chests down a wonderful lob from Dejan Stankovic into the Napoli area. Without any defenders, Julio Cruz was able to pick his spot and fired a wicked left-footer to beat Iezzo to give Inter Milan a 2-0 advantage.

Real Madrid: La Liga Championship Form In Win Against Recreativo

The Santiago Bernabeu is the home pitch of Spanish La Liga Champions Real Madrid, and just recently the stadium was packed with Real Madrid supporters who cheered on Los Galacticos as they faced Recreativo de Huelva in a 2007-08 regular season Spanish La Liga match.Real Madrid were able to produce two second-half goals from Dutch striker Ruud van Nistelrooy and Argentinian forward Gonzalo Higuain to give Real Madrid a 2-0 home win against Recreativo. Real Madrid collects the full three points from the match, and they maintain their position as number one in the Spanish La Liga with 19 points, two ahead of Barcelona who have 17.The match seemed to be headed for a stalemate with both Recreativo and Real Madrid not being able to convert their scoring opportunities into goals.
