Tottenham lost 2-1 at home to Getafe in Thursday’s UEFA Cup tie, a game which proved to be Martin Jol’s last in charge. News of Jol’s departure dramatically emerged as his side were trying in vain to rescue a draw with the Spanish side. Read more…

What a farce at White Hart lane! Jol has been treated terribly and I am not surprised to see he eventually tendered his resignation.
Last night they were hugely unlucky and that really sums up their season so far and even in the closing stages Getafe blocked numerous efforts and Huddlestone hit the post.
