Aresnal Win Again! First Place in English Premier League!

The Arsenal Gunners came out with a 1-0 result at Upton Park, when they were visitors to West Ham United over the weekend. Arsenal’s win gives them thier 6th win of the season, and they still remain undefeated. The only “blemish” in their championship campaign for the 2007-08 English Premier League season was a 1-1 draw with the Blackburn Rovers ealrier this season.The lone goal of the game came in the 13th minute when Aresnal’s Emmanuel Adebayor took the ball down the right flank, and dropped it for Alexander Hleb, who crossed it over to the far post where Robin van Persie glanced a header past West Ham United keeper Rob Green. Green was able to push the ball, but not enough to keep it past the net, giving Arsenal a 1-0 advantage early in the match.Robin van Persie’s goal is his 3rd of the season.
