vikash, please. no one can be compared to bergkamp. when hakan sukur scores a goal, the stadium goes wild. when bergkamp scores a goal, the stadium goes quiet cuz they dont believe what they’ve just seen. people argue about maradona’s 50m run to be the best goal ever. look at bergkamp’s newcastle goal, and if people dont think thas the best goal ever, then they really dont know football. i can watch that goal infinite times and never figure out what he did. people said that henry leaving arsenal was the worst thing ever. they now realize who is really missed.

what a great player. he reminds me of Zidane the way he controls the ball. Zidane certainly had that touch too. I guess bergkamp was faster and more intent on dribbling and best on the last third of the field, while Zidane participated more in the play on the midfield. but I gotta say, Zidane is my all-time favourite, and bergkamp comes in third or fourth. (he competes with cruyff, ronaldo and pélé in my opinion)
