Agreed, Zizou is one of the best of his generation. I hate to say it but he schooled the Brazilians on more than one occasion. As for the whole skull punch incident, can you blame the guy for defending his family’s honor?

excellent. a truly great, complete midfielder. all should be measured by him. Zidane had it all. seeing him drive through defenses gives meaning to the phrase “bull in china shop.”
it is so nice to see this now, with all of the hubbub in the states about the incredibly limited beckham. thank you.

Dear Vikash
Although it is perfectly acceptable to have the right in your opinion about Zidane, I am struggling to understand why you are referring to Mohamed as we all know that Zidane’s name is Zineddine Yazid Zidane AKA Zizou. No famous footballer was called what you mentioned above, I have a strong suspicion that you are going down the Ethnic/ Religious / Mockery route. I am very disappointed to hear this specially that through sports and mainly football we are trying to promote mutual understanding, fairness, equal oppotunities and trying to stamp out any racial / ethnic or religious slurs.
Thank you.

No doubt one of the greatest all-time. That is why i’m very upset that he did such a stupid thing in World Cup 06. I’m Italian and that has nothing to do with my opinion. He is a multi winner of numerous trophies in recognition for his greatness, has won the coveted World Cup trophy, and still he did something so unbelievably stupid. As a former competitive athlete, i can’t understand how such a genius of a player could strike an opposing player in overtime of the world cup final. What was said is insignificant to the importance of his actions. I would have thought that since he is without a doubt one of the greatest ever, he wouldn’t betray his fellow countrymen by responding the way he did to a few words no matter how bad they are. As a Zidane fan, I was disappointed. As an Italian fan, I was relieved his greatness wouldn’t get a chance to compete in the shoot-out. Hopefully, he will be remembered as a great player and not as a bad leader.

Mohamed Zidane is real. He is playing in the budasliga. He is Egyptian. Currently only 25 years old.

Personaly I think that Zidane is the best player football has ever seen. He had everything in his skills. I am a complete Italian fan adn think what he did at the world cup is completely idiodic, and I dislike Luca Toni for doing this now. But all I have to say is I hope Zidane is remebered for his reall skill and grace instead of one stupid incident.

As a huge fan of Zidane I would like to thank you for such a great compilation of video clips of one of the greatest players of all time to have played the game. And to the Italian fans go thank your keeper
as France made an absolute mockery of your famous defense and your boring style of football!!!

Thanks Gavin, I would like to say sorry to Vikash for my hasty response, I should have googled the name first, appologies for not checking the Mohamed Zidan (surname spelled without “e” in the end) as rightly written by Vikash. I did not mean to cause offence to anyone.
Regards
Toufik

A genius well known for his artistic display on the field. I don’t think there will be another player like him. He is unique and if not one of the greatest in his time than he surely is the greatest.

like every else said, great compilation.. but not showing the most single remembered moment of his entire career is the dumbest thing I have ever seen. Yes it is very negative and obviously you think it will tarnish his legacy but it is still apart of his career and just showing the red card being shown doesn’t give his whole career justice.
Good job though. Song sucked ***.

Have you ever met him in person to make an absolutely ignorant comment as you did?
He was a competitor and there are far worst actions done on the field by other world players
that has gone un-noticed! A head butt was not enough for Goofyrazzi but he should’ve waited till
after they would’ve won the cup as we all know
who the superior team was that day!!! why
would a team resort to name calling but that’s Italian players for you as expected!! no class!!
Anyway try to be more respectful if you can try
once? and let me know which contemporary Football legend you champion as the ultimate Gentleman on and off the field.

Absolutly brilliant and truely the best football player of all time. There are some players who maybe have more dribbling skills than Zidane like Ronaldinho or C. Rolando, but he could lead a team. He could make a team win and his elegance on the pitch, truely unique. Thank you for this Video, it will inspire me everytime I will play football.

There are not enough superlatives to describe this man. Simply the best if not one of the best footballers of all time. He is definitly alongside Pele and Maradonna in my book. Footballing genius, was generally always two steps ahead of the opposition and knew what he was going to do with the ball before he received it.
Thank you Zou Zou!

Legend
Didnt know he was a Berber
Ironic that a man of Algerian descent would win France their first world cup. Especially since France lost their war on “terror” in algeria in the 50s.

la meillleur produit de france including platini. only compares to maradona, pele and best imo. the WC ‘06 final fiasco is understandable and forgivable but the dirty italian tactics of verbally winding up the opposition were detestable…just hope they dont win euro ‘08

I have never noticed this from any other fans - not Chelsea, Liverpool, or any other fans, but they always seem to have this arrogance that when any player is called good, they always have to curse them off and state a Man U player who was/is better. This is only some, though. There are always bad fans, from every team, and no matter if they support Arsenal or not, if they are being stupid or offensive, my first impression of them is not very good. I have nothing against Man U fans - just all the fans that think they no everything and cannot state their point without offending someone.

Zidane had a vision on the ball that eclipsed that of almost all others. It was uncanny how he turned the strongest XI’s in Europe inside out.
For making beauty with his legs, I will always remember ZIZOU!
