Arsenal midfielder Abou Diaby pulls out of the French squad. Premier League players who remain in the squad are: Lassana Diarra, Claude Makelele, Florent Malouda (all Chelsea), Patrice Evra (Manchester United), William Gallas (Arsenal), Nicolas Anelka (Bolton).
