The deal with GARMIN will be the biggest in the club’s history, initially it is for one year for a seven figure sum, with negotiations already taking place to extend that. Jerzy Dudek Jerzy Dudek’s heroics in the 2005 Champions League final for Liverpool was forgotten overnight, for whatever reason it seems that Rafa Benitez just simply wouldn’t let him play anymore and so the 34-year-old Polish Goalkeeper decided not to renew his contract with Liverpool which meant he was a free agent, and while there were rumors that several Premiership clubs were interested in taking him on board the lure of Real Madrid was stronger and today it was confirmed that Jerzy Dudek is now officially a Real Madrid player.

Ajax have roped in Dennis Rommedahl & Ismael Urzaiz for the new season and i think it’s a pretty decent buy, i always felt Rommedahl was rotting/wasting his talents at a club like Charlton so it’s good to see that he finally will get a chance to play in the Champions League again.

AFC Ajax were delighted to sign a “supersub” after recruiting the former Spain forward Ismael Urzaiz on a one-year contract as well as winger Dennis Rommedahl from Charlton Atheltic FC.
