First let me say that this is the footy event that Malaysia chose to host over the Man Utd asia tour, i still regret that Man Utd didn’t make it to our shores (Malaysia) but that’s all now in the past.Iraq definitely are a suprise package in this tournament, they claimed a place in the AFC Asian Cup final for the first time ever after outlasting Korea Republic 4-3 in a penalty shootout at Bukit Jalil National Stadium, Malaysia while Yasser Al Qahtani (35), Malek Maaz (47), Malek Maaz (57) ensured Saudi Arabia progressed to the final in a thrilling semi-final with Japan, running out 3-2 winners in the end.
The Final will be played at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Jakarta, on the 29th of July 2007, who do you think will be the winners of the 2007 Asia Cup? For me personally i think Iraq will lift the cup on their very first attempt.

I don’t know why but this new stadium just reminds me of Arsenal’s new stadium and how the team has begun to split after some ex-players echoing sentiments that money was spent more on the stadium rather than bringing in new players.
